Dont bother knocking.....and he left leaving behind the best memories... like a true friend. Huge armies fought each other but Bilbo's small decisions and Frodo's in LOTR later changed everything and turned the story to the best endings. Happy engings.
Bilbo is such an amazing character. No wonder Thorin grow very fond of him, to the point he trust Bilbo more than his own kin by the end of the trilogy. Bilbo has absolutely no reason and no power to lend to Thorin in his quest, and yet he gave himself in entirely to the mission, meanwhile powerful allies turned their back when the dwarves needed them, and they had actually something to gain from that if succeeded. Bilbo without a real reason to fight for the dwarves homeland and being considered a weakling (for being a hobbit) proved to be more reliable than men, elves and dwarves to the company.
People telling me there are no moving scenes in The Hobbit like there was in LOTR me: 1. Gandalf telling Bilbo what true courage is when giving him Sting in An Unexpected Journey. 2. Gandalf explaining to Galadriel "why Bilbo" in An Unexpected Journey. 3. The scene where Bilbo tries to escapes and Bofur catches him in An Unexpected Journey. 4. Bilbo telling the Dwarves why he came back in An Unexpected Journey. 5. Thorin apologizing and hugging Bilbo at the end of An Unexpected Journey. 6. Balin telling Bilbo "it never ceases to amaze me, the courage of Hobbits" in The Desolation of Smaug. 7. The acorn scene in The Battle of the Five Armies. 8. Bofur saying goodbye to Bilbo as he escapes in the night in The Battle of the Five Armies(extended). 9. Thorin getting rid of his dragon sickness and asking the Dwarves "Will you follow me, one last time" in The Battle of the Five Armies. 10. Thorin's last words to Bilbo and Bilbo crying for the first time in the movies in The Battle of the Five Armies. 11. Bilbo saying goodbye to all the remaining Dwarves in the Battle of the Five Armies. 12. Bilbo's last scene in The Battle of the five armies where Gandalf knocks on his door tying the two movies together in The Battle of the Five Armies.
“I’m not doing this for you. Now I know dwarves can be obstinate, and pigheaded, with the worst manners you could possibly imagine, but they are also brave, selfless… and loyal to a fault. I’ve grown very fond of them and I would save them if I could…”

Fun fact. Sir Ian McKellan surrounded by green walls and sitting at a green table with cutout of Bilbo’s beside him, wept. Imagine having to pour your heart into acting and having nothing to look at but a lime green wall. What a great man.
I really want to meet the LOTR and hobbit cast, especially b4 sir Ian passes
I would like to meet the cast aswell
Declanator DaBeast That would be a dream come true for me.
Jed Brophy (nori) who is a friend, is lovely beyond belief and so very supportive. I met ken Scott at an event and he is also lovely. If you ever get a chance, take it and you won’t regret it
I find the last quote the most heart warming
Ive watched all these movies so many times omg😭
“If this is to end in fire, then we will all burn together.” -Thorin
Who’s still watching this and crying when bilbo left the dwarves
It's even sadder when you realize that half of them wind up dead by the time of the Fellowship of the ring 😭😭😭😭
I already had tears in my eyes at #4, but I had to pause at #3 because I couldn’t handle it anymore 😭 these movies are beautiful ❤️
'If this has to end in fire, then we will all burn together.'
Every dialogue was ❤️❤️❤️ but That last dialogue by Gandalf was 😍😍😍.Simple act of kindness n love 🙏🏻🙏🏻
i dont care what anyone says, Martin Freeman as Bilbo did incredible in this movie
I really wish there were more Movies set in middle earth 😥
well there is going to be a show on Amazon.
@@quill9648 and it's going to suck so bad
Read the books
"Do you think she could love me." Makes me cry every time
You skipped "I have never been more wrong in all my life"
what about gadalfs "what do you mean? do you mean to wish me a good morning or are you saying it is a good morning whether I want it or not or perhaps you mean to say you feel good on this particular morning or are you simply stating that this is a morning to be good on"?
8:14 I love how they subtly play the LoTR Prologue motif as Biblo hides the One Ring.
"I belong with my brother" was one of my favorites
I think all of these deserve their place on the list. Wise words. Though there are many other great ones I think this was a good list.
I melted at the part where Bilbo cries because Thorin dies😭😭😭😭😭
I could watch Martin and Richard act together every day and never get bored.
*Amazing* Video here !
I think I am one of the few People whose genuinely enjoyed the movies
thank you so much and same I actually enjoyed them
Everything in middle earth
You're Very Welcome !
Genuinely Good work; and the Hobbit Series're a bit too underratted/hated in my opinion
The DORUK your not alone i also like the Hobbit Trilogy.
I love these movies too i usualy watch all 6 extended editions ones every 2 months
Me and my demon under my bed were crying through most of these
Still one if the best trilogies. I love these movies. They’ve made me smile, laugh and cry
People telling me there are no moving scenes in The Hobbit like there was in LOTR
me:
THANK YOU MAN. I know this is four years old, but people hate these movies way too much
Good gracious, Thorin Oakenshield is drop dead gorgeous!
8:15 Gandalf knows something is up, but likely decides it would be best to mention it later
“I’m not doing this for you. Now I know dwarves can be obstinate, and pigheaded, with the worst manners you could possibly imagine, but they are also brave, selfless… and loyal to a fault. I’ve grown very fond of them and I would save them if I could…”
What about “cheese knife?”
2:22 probably one of the best things about third hobbit movie
Many didn’t like the Hobbit but I actually really liked it.
If you don’t like it maybe it’s not for you but not everything is meant for everyone
Hobbit personality is so wholesome that even made the mad king Thorin smiles
That cut scene where bilbo plants the acorn in Dale is really good
