I agree! I don't like that wide stance look. It will look even better once I get the 4x4 tires off and get some street tires. I think im gonna go with a 255/50/16 I measured the wheels while I had em off and they are 10 wide so that on the minimum side and anything any wider is gonna be a tall tire.
The hub centric rings are good always go with metal... And there a millions of cars and trucks out there running non hub centric wheels without ring adapters so they are safe to use this is cause of the lug nuts being cone shaped they self center the wheel, they also have a bulge to make sure they can not easily strip through the hole in case a wheel starts to loosen gives you time to come to a stop... Hub centric is more important on mag style lug nuts that have no 45° taper and reley on the clamping force to hold all the torque... I have that style on my 74 charger using aluminum slots...and stay away from the uni-lug style wheels as they can cause wheel hop issues I keep them for a spare tire use only.
Thanks! I agree I didn't like the look of the spacers. This is my 3rd one I had a 85 w150 a 86 d150 and now this 88 I always regretted selling my other 2
Looks alot better! And will be alot safer!👍

@@Dartfreak75 That should look great!👍
@musclecarmitch908 looks like that size is gonna be expensive and hard to find! Of course lol. Might try and squeeze a 245 on them. 🫣😬

Thanks that makes me feel alot better about these rims! I can't find the right size hub ring anyways.
That's an awesome truck! I had one just like it when I ws 18. Looks better without the spacers.
