Been some short 5ths this year. Boom certainly took this. AAMU showed some potential, but 1 or 2 spots were hit or miss. I like the balance from the BOOM especially on the first song. Come and Talk to Me could have been a hit, if AAMU is able to bring the melody out more. Maybe it's just me, but compared to how some of these bands were a couple of years ago, some seem like they know they will have go up against the BOOM, but the difference between the 2 is clear. The BOOM almost sounds like a band you use for a professional recording.
Way to hang AA&M, you all sound really good. JSU quite arguably has the best Band Director in the country. A parade show, a march-in, zero qtr, field show, 5th qtr, and a march out...all were very exciting. This band is elite and incredible. JSU for the WIN
AA&MU are okay, but the BOOM has more advantage, so they take the W. AA&M need to find a way to create that sound and I'm not talking about comparing, nevertheless, they need to do something with that melody.
