Not one person could do zorbas dance properly but as least everyone had fun trying. There are so many different foot movements to dance to and if you make a mistake it's very noticeable to someone who knows this dance

Samos is a small traditional Greek island! all foreign tourism is banned on Samos as well as cars and most of modern technology, soon the government plans to ban telephones as well! the reason for this is because Greece wanted to create a traditional community on a island that represents the old Greece since the world is changing so much and to prevent the island from changing they banned tourism! this is also the reason why we don't have apartments or hotels here and only houses! now the Greeks who live on Samos are all mainly Greek nationalists and this is what makes Samos a dangerous place for tourists! most of the people here are homophobic and very xenophobic to anyone who is not Greek even though I'm more open minded!
We are only caring and we are only loving to Greek Orthodox Christians, I've lived here all my life and I can tell you because I know what happens here that we don't like non Greeks

I am a tourist on Samos for over 20 years. i know many Greek friends who are kind, not xenophobic, I live in a hotel in Kokkari, drive a car all over the island. Samos is my second home.
