"The Red Phantom Killer"
The M.P.P. travels out on a hot, summer evening to test out their newly developed, monster-detecting, artificial intelligence: E.M.I. However, an uninvited visitor enters the skies above them, demanding the surrender of an intergalactic murderer. Will Zone and company be able to find this vigilante in time? Or will matters have to be taken into his own hands?
Hope you all enjoy the latest episode of Zone Fighter! Lots of new techniques at play editing-wise that I think will help out a lot in the future.

DaikaijuLegends I dont know if you'll respond...but I am a hue fan! You and this series has inspired me to try and make one of my own...but I don't know where to start. Any tips? Making a Ultraman fan series has always been a dream of mine

Thank you so much! I know that feeling of not knowing where to start for sure. Before settling on Zone Fighter, I went through so many different ideas for my own Tokusatsu series. Especially if you go way back into the 2011 days of my channel you'd see I went through my own Ultraman design, or even a retelling of Mebius or Taro. I think what really helped me was just sitting back for a bit and thinking of what I could do to try and make my own series as unique and set apart from the average Ultraman series. Think about what sort of story you want to tell that would be an interesting take on a Tokusatsu series!

I love the fact that everyone has accepted that Redman is a blood thirsty, ruthless killer, so much to the fact that it's become a plot point for this series.
This episode was freaking awesome man! Great job, can't wait for more. Baltan's gruesome death actually kinda made me cringe, it was pretty brutal XD

okay, a couple things:
1. i felt like flipping my desk when it turned out it was just a toy and not the real big g himself.
2. yet another beautifully made episode, you exceed our expectations with each minute of an episode.
and finally 3. i did NOT expect "him" to be the red phantom killer, i thought it was going to have something to do with nova

well to be fair redman is basically a kaiju cereal killer who kills monsters for literally no reason, so I'd say red phantom killer is quite fitting for him.
but I do agree with the Godzilla part tho, when I saw him I was like HOLY CRAP YES! ITS FINALLY HIM! THE KING HAS ARRI- oh.
Well, considering he said Godzilla was said not to be in the series, only for us to see him in the intro with editing clearly in it, maybe he changed his mind and this is a hint towards it!

I turned on the auto subtitle and I love how the subtitle says "Applause" when Redman begin to slowly slicing Baltan's head in half lol

DAMN. The editing was amazing, the twist reveal (which I won't spoil) was shocking, and overall, the acting and presentation look phenomenal. I also loved that little fake-out with Godzilla at the start. XD

Also for a suggestion I would love to see an episode in the future that kind of takes the idea of the episode from the original Ultraman where the science patrol question what they are there for if Ultraman is the one who stops all the monsters. That was one of my favorite episodes!

Thank you! I've always found the concept of that episode incredibly intriguing and brilliant for character arcs. I've got an idea later on that's somewhat similar to the original episode, but with a unique twist, haha.

I'm sure I speak for literally everyone who've seen this but good lord this was a fantastic episode! I sincerely enjoyed the hard work you and your cast have put in, not to mention the stunning visual effects and story. Of course the twist with Red Man was such a huge surprise, my jaw hit the floor lol can't wait to see more of this!

This epsiode was really good, In my opinion it was better then epsiode 1, would would of a better opening epsiode (it still technically is, so still good.). The first twist of Godzilla being in zone fighter was funny, the little set the kid made was cute as well, as well as being a nice little reference to all the Godzilla fans wanting him in.
Then the news about referencing his 6 battle (in episode 6) was pretty nice, I believe his 2 defeats were at the hands of Dorgory in epsiode 5, and idk the 2nd one. And the recreation of the fight against gomora and Zone was great, it's animation was smoother, better effects, the angle for his inbetween state was great: made me wish it was in epsiode 6, but a man could dream.
As for meteor's team's acting, it was alright, but a noticeable improvement compared to epsiode 1's. Glad to see things are getting better thou.
The AI thou, I love his sarcasm and his color changing emotion "gimick", and that he isn't a complete asshole, as he cares for his creator (even if she was the one who made him care) while kip was fine (no offense to u or his actor, lips actor was actually one of my favorite ones in season 1.), but you can only do so much with a bland A.I. And this new one feels like a good apology/make up for kip.
As for Baltan, his acting is pretty well done: I like his calm and somewhat clever peronsality was great, as will as the mini trick of his fake out, if a fake out for his death. The battle was great, feels like u swapping out Metron was for the better, thou some of Batlan's moves were somewhat questionable, but an enjoyable fight, but a little slow for Baltan and zone: who (I think) are meant to be fast, and again from my first comment when we learned of baltans goals: his way of think was great to see. But now that I've seen his and zone's side of the agrument: Zone should of let him see what he would of done, and stopped him from hurting somone (like Jirass and Ultrman: but I'm not talking about what *you* should of made zone do: I just mean in univese: Zone could of handled the situation better.)
Now, about Baltan's defeat, was suprsing, at first I thought it could of been Maga Orouchi (because his red color and being the opening), and evil ultra, a few others, and that the "red" part was just in the name. However when he did show up, man oh man was it great, the lack of music made it all the more tense. And I wonder who that was, aw well, we'll most likely find out who -Red Man- The red phantom menace is.
But I find it strange how no one has yet to point out how Connor left around when Jason (sorry if I got zone's host's name wrong) did. Then showed up soon after -Red Man- The Red Phantom Menace & Zone fighter left, hmm... I feel like Conner's hiding something... NAH, probably just went to help the others.
All in all, this was a better episode then 1, had a few problems that may or may not be just nitpicking, and I'm happy to seeing all the (potential) behind to scenes you'll post in between episodes 3 and 4. And if you're reading this: thank Daikaiju Legends for taking the time to read my comments of ur videos, I hope at least one of these long comments I've dropped helped the quality of ur content in some small way, Becuase not to be a dick, but I kinda don't like dropping small "oh this is super good" comments without some reason why or way to Improve. Anyways: have a great weekend
Thanks for all the comments! E.M.I. was definitely written as a sort of foil to what K.I.P. was in Season One, and they're actually the same actor as well, haha. Definitely hoping to vastly improve the human side of the action in the coming episodes here.
DaikaijuLegends I actually didn't notice that untill you pointed that out. But quick question, is that an actual figure of -Red Man- Red Phantom Menace, and if so: is a custom or a "real" figure? Also the Ultraman 80 grunts sparced inbetween are a nice addition

Well, it's a bit complicated how he was made for that shot. I've held off on making a custom for now until we get definite confirmation on whether or not the Evolution Toys figure of him will be released. So that one shot of him in this episode is actually a photoshopped image, haha.

That's always been on his face, it's just a really noticeable birthmark essentially. We just decided to give it a bit of an interesting backstory that also fit with his character, haha.

Ok here they are; ultraman belial+ shin godzilla+dark zagi= ultraman orb dark shin belial, eleking+gomora= thunder gomora, and destroyah+maga orochi= maga destrochi. So which do you like the most or do you like all of them?
Maga Destrochi seems really neat! That name's got a cool ring to it as well.

As much as I would love to have a consistent schedule with episodes, it would take many months, possibly even a year or two, of constant work to finish all of the episodes in Season Two, and that just seems like a silly amount of time to go without any other content.

WildDoggos 45 fun fact: in the original zone fighter (toho version), toho borrowed some ace grunts to use for zone from tsubuyara. if you watch the episode of zone where Godzilla first appears, when zone is getting wreaked you can hear him grunting like ace. (that last sentience sounds so wrong doesn't it?)

Not really foreshadowing so much as world building, haha.
I’m still confused. Is this in the same continuity/universe as the first season or had the first season just never happened in this series?
Whalezilla nah it's the same continuity. thirty years ago zone first appeared, and meteor was still a thing as stated, and in episode one of season 2, the ultra brothers explain the ultraminium orbs to zone, also mentioning how he got the orb from the mountains, and one from the monster grave yard, from alien bat. so yes season one was before this, and if you notice, the same monsters from episode 6 of season one attack (gomora, salamandora, gabora) as it says "thirty years ago" and gomora kills salamandora in the same way he did in season one, so in other words, yes it's the same continuity.
This is indeed still the same continuity as Season One. Not sure what you'd be confused on other than I wound up playing both Zone's human form of Koichi in the first season as well as Jason, who is a completely new character, in Season Two.

Let me compare the original episode 6 with the flashback episode 6
1.In the original episode 6, Captain Steinz wore normal glass, his hair was wet, and his Jacket is gray. But in the flashback episode 6, Captain Steinz's glasses are now different, his hairstyle is the same as Jason, and his jacket now has a symbol.
2.In the original episode 6, Salamandora was kicked into a building by Zone Fighter, but in the flashback episode 6, Salamandora was never kicked into a building and continued fighting alongside Gomora.
3.In the original episode 6, Zone Fighter's shield is rectangular. But in the flashback episode 6, Zone Fighter's shield looks like an actual shield.
And that's my comparison to the original episode 6 and the flashback episode 6. And speaking of Salamandora, what happened to him? And another thing, why didn't you use stock footage from the original episode 6 for season 2 episode 2.
The monster souls being absorbed by Zone was actually a thing from later in the episode's production, as I had completely forgotten about it when Zone got his new transformation item, haha. Maybe it just got absorbed later on, or it went back to Alien Bat who no longer saw it as useful. Using stock footage from the original Episode 6 would have looked extremely out of place with the new effects, camera, etc that I have now, plus I needed to rework parts to better suit it being from Tyler's perspective as a child.
