- The long awaited third part to useless super mario maker 2 facts is finally here, Useless Super Mario Maker 2 Facts #3! This series is of course based off of Pjiggles' useless smash facts series however this time in super mario maker 2! This episode is more useless than ever, with many more obscure facts about mario maker 2 that you likely never heard of before! There will be many different easter eggs, glitches, and hidden features talked about in this episode. There will also be facts covering power-ups, some bosses, and maybe even a tip to helping you create some troll levels! Link's crouching sprite can be seen in gameplay. If you crouch jump into a master sword (try the one that comes out of the pipe in the Link ninji speedrun), he'll have that animation until he lands
Additionally, there's a setup I saw in a DGR video that uses water and I think a donut block to show the crouching sprite.
You can also use the eraser tool to make him crouch, although it isn't in gameplay, it's another way.

I know this isn't really a useless fact, but in Super Mario Maker 2, there is a secret character named Toad! You must go to the pause menu, go to settings and select Toad as your character! Nintendo really thought their secret was safe with me!

I've never noticed it at the end of a level but I have seen the link duck before. I believe you can duck in a boot, and if you're in a boot or dry bones shell and pressed into a particularly tight space that would automatically duck you it works there too, though you can't see the full sprite that way.

At 7:39, the Koopa Clown Cars are called different names because if you take a Junior Clown Car picture and a Koopa Clown Car picture, the Junior Clown Car seems to be a few pixels shorter. Mainly because Bowser Jr only rides the Junior but Bowser doesn't in the real NSMBU game.
Also the mouth is different af
If you ever make another one, all flying enemies that home in on you, such as Red Wigglers underwater, will all eventually stop following you and go in a straight line (except blasta mechakoopa's bullets, they blow up before they do this)
I knew for the hovering on the off mushroom trampoline. Mario 3d world interface has a 2 tile depth toward the background, and while ground tiles are 2 tiles deep, some items are only 1 (like blocks). However the mushroom trampoline is always placed where the background items are (like semi solids, doors etc...)

Hey! I know it's 9 months, someone's PROBABLY already said this, but I think the reason that NSMBU calls the Koopa Clown Car JUNIOR clown Car is because in the NSMBU game, Bowser never uses it, only bowser junior.
At least you can force Luigi to ride a pink Yoshi in New Super Mario Bros Wii.
In the Super Mario World game style, if you jump on a galoomba in the forest with water exposed, holding it in the water let’s you float up.
I hope you will see this after 2 months, but I found a pretty useless fact.
So in super Mario world, if you spin jump onto a brick block while being big, you will break it.
So if there is a Yoshi on a brick, and you spin jump onto yoshi, the brick underneath will break, even though yoshi is there. It’s kinda weird.
Useless fact (sort of): Stabbing Link’s bomb with the link suit when it’s under a lucky block with one or more coins inside will make the bomb collect a coin for you. I’m not sure if it works for other things in lucky blocks.
Useless Smm2 Fact: If you shake the question mark block in the course maker, it makes a sound like an empty piggy bank
I do know that in Super Mario Maker 1, if you shake a muncher around long enough (or afk for 10 minutes), you can do a secret minigame. I’m not sure if it is still in Mario Maker 2.

It might not be an useless fact, but lava doesn't reset the one-up counter if you swim on it with a dry bones shell. Try it with giant dry bones that are sunken half in lava.

The Koopa Clown Car is renamed to the Junior Clown Car because they’re actually not the same thing. The Junior one is smaller than Bowser’s, and has a smaller mouth and eyes. This is because in the NSMB series, you primarily see the Junior one more than the normal one. The real Koopa Clown Cars in modern games actually look like how they do in Mario World.

Here's a useless fact. In Yamamura's Dojo tutorials, the only item that they don't call by it's official name is the ? Block. Instead they just call them blocks. That leads to a funny side effect where when they refer to Brick Blocks and ? Blocks, they'll just say "Blocks and Blocks" except with different icons next to them.
It would be cool if the characters' fireballs matched their color. Mario has red fireballs, Luigi has green, Toad has blue, and Toadette has pink.
It could help with distinguishing who deals the final blow to enemies.
Plus in Smash Bros, Luigi's fireballs are green, soooooo......... yeah.

Fact: All variants of big coins have a completely unique animation when coming out of a pipe. You have to do the Game Genie Technique glitch in order to put big coins inside pipes.

Useless fact: A flying buzzy beetle and a red koopa move horizontally at the same speed, meaning you can make it look like the koopa is stacked on the buzzy beetle, when really, it is not. Also, if Mario stands on the buzzy beetle, it won't react to his weight.
Another useless(?) fact: a Buzzy Beetle shell kicked at maximum force is as fast as Mario running full speed with a star.
putting a burner up to Mario while he's in link form can also show the crouching Sprite
Also in the Mario World theme, when Mario uses a drybones shell and became only a pile of skulls, when they rassemble, we can see the drybones feet.

Useless Fact: Snake blocks aren't actually snakes.
Small useless facts: In the Koopalings section of Nintendo’s 3.0 update video, there are some significant changes to the actual game.
The ones I’ve found are:
Wendy : uses smb3 sprite in smw style
Morton : has blue fireballs when he groundpounds
Lemmy : different smb1 sprite (I’m surprised nobody has talked about this)
Ludwig : uses smb3 sprite in smw style & has red projectiles
The answer for the Junior Clown Car is that the Clown Car in New Soup is Junior's Clown Car specifically, in the rest of the styles it's the generic Clown Car used by Bowser
Useless Fact: You can Copy a Firebar from the end but cannot erase it or (multi)grab it from the end
I have another useless fact. When you run a little bit and turn around and you are Link, Link's sheild actually turns sideways.
Useless fact: Most of the Semisolids in the SMB1 Style, are just recolored ground theme semisolids.

9:51 I called them hard blocks but when I placed them down, I always heard the game say “Born York” but then one day, I was thinking about the Hard Block while playing the game and when I placed it down I heard “Hard Block” like what it should sound like, depending if I want it to say “Born York” or “Hard Block”, what’s what I will hear, I don’t know why
Useless fact: in the NSMBU style of the airship the same sounds when you walk on the wooden airship floors ACTUALLY apply to the start ground and the goal ground. It's kinda strange and I just found that out not too long ago.

Hey, Luigi>Mario. They have way more personality. Like, Mario is the character you pick when your just starting out...... Except, to an extent, in smash. And even then, that's probably just cause of the funny forward air. He's such a basic choice. Luigi, however, is always the more fun option.
If you still do this series I have one where you can be in poison in the night when you go into the editor and die in poison and hit the editor the second you die and hit play again you can survive in poison and you have to have no ground or blocks or g that doesn’t have the pink/purple blocks. So those pink blocks will appear and I hope you do this series still too.

The dry bone shell fact WAS intended, as the shell was meant to be a mystery item that you learned going through the Secrets Of The Dry Bone Shell in story mode

Useless fact: the bridge in New Soup in Snow in Night uses the same texture as the ice block in the bottom part(If you put ice blocks on top it looks prettt cool!).
Fact: if you are wall-sliding on a bullet blaster which is on a spring, Mario will slide really awkwardly down. This doesn’t work with bullet blasters on tracks tho
Useless fact: Odyessey Central's videos are great! (It's useless because everyone should know about this.)
(13:00) I dislike shorts for two reasons:
- I prefer playing something in the background while I work on other stuff. Having to change video every 1 minute is annoying. Plus if I don't change video, it repeats and that's even more annoying. A normal video normally shuts up.
- On the phone, I can't play a short in splitscreen mode. This prevents me from playing a short while I do other things at the same time.
