I have always been a Earnhardt fan. First Dale Sr and then when Dale Jr started in what is now Xfinity, I started pulling for him! He is so down to earth and really loves NASCAR and the history of Nascar and racing. This, in itself, is what made him deserving of the Nascar Hall of Fame status!! No other like him. Since he retired, I am now a Chase Elliott fan. I always liked his dad!!!

And Dale Jr. trusting you enough to be that vulnerable is amazing. He’s an awesome human being and this was a special moment to be privy to. I don’t think Jr. will ever fully understand how much he means to so many of us. Thank you for sharing.

First of all I want to say that I absolutely love your channel. I have what I can only call a odd connection with Dale Jr. I spent my entire life trying to make my father proud of. I raced dirt tracks like him hell I joined the USMC so he could not say I took the easy way out by joining the army… Hearing Dale speak about his father over the years I can really relate with him. That being said this really touched me. I think it really shows what a great person he has become over the years. He was always so great with his fans . Thank you for the work you put into your channel it’s amazing

I used to love when Junior had media availability at Texas Motor Speedway, whether it was pre-race or post-race because he was the best interview in the garage. A lot of drivers would be understandably impatient to get to their next thing, or to pack up and go home, but Dale Jr. always got more questions than the race winner and he answered them all thoroughly, openly, and honestly, whether it was about the car, his crew, or himself. They'd have to cut off questions for him because almost everyone in the MC had at least one question for him. If there was a driver waiting to go on after him, they got to sit for a minute and have a cold drink because they knew it would be a few minutes.
I always said his pressers were part interview, part history lesson, and part group therapy.
