Crash 4 invincibility is very, very rare. I kept dying on purpose just to get 2 masks and go invincible with the third being some random Aku Aku crate in some levels. They could have at least made the masks carry over from level to level
Not only that...the aku-aku in crash 4 doesn't protect you from everything, in the old games, the aku-aku protected you from spikes and other things that can kill the player, but in Crash 4, spikes kill the player in hour, same as Twinsanity.

Twinsanity was the first Crash game i ever played. I remember getting the "invicibility" power and wondering: "Wait, is this the invincibility power? Just like in the Mario games?" then i ran into an enemy and nothing happened and i simply thought: "No it's not. What's even the point of this thing?"

Crash 4 fits the best of the mask power, because these masks represents an entity that protects people or has his own will, so this invencibility power must make the enemies fear crash, making the mask glowing eyes and make wild expressions fits good even with the music.

Twinsanity has the worst, but I hate CB4's Aku very much, ESPECIALLY on the damn lava in the dino chase level. It would have been nice if the mask knocked away obstacles on the rail grind sections too, but nothing is as bad as those lava sections. I also miss when he just followed Crash rather than spun around him.
I still want to know what's being said after the invincibility time is up (& after you lose a mask, when you get hit by an enemy) in Crash 1-3. My kid says the mask is laughing but it doesn't sound like laughter to me, just really fast talking...
The only thing I can make out is "Rutabaga". Naughty Dog said that Aku Aku's "gibberish" isn't supposed to mean anything, but after so many years, David Siller (the original voice actor for Aku Aku) confirmed that the word actually is "Rutabaga".

They chose to not make it protect you from TNTs so you couldn't just use Aku Aku to skip some of the puzzles for the gems.

I alway thought he is saying some random stuff like: oregoda (well that is what i hear) but when i saw it im my recomended it said what gave i got
I still want to know what's being said after the invincibility time is up (& after you lose a mask, when you get hit by an enemy) in Crash 1-3. My kid says the mask is laughing but it doesn't sound like laughter to me, just really fast talking...
The only thing I can make out is "Rutabaga". Naughty Dog said that Aku Aku's "gibberish" isn't supposed to mean anything, but after so many years, David Siller (the original voice actor for Aku Aku) confirmed that the word actually is "Rutabaga".

out of all crash games I think crash looks at his best in twin sanity, the goofy looking idiotic of an animal that he is that always invites himself any trouble thats around doing crazy stuff and his face suggest that its all on purpose. thats the crash we know and love unlike the OG from the first crash bandicoot game where he is all cool and dedicated saving his girlfriend.
Crash isn’t an idiot. Twinsanity made him into one.
