that's because bh has a lot of freedom, even with their rules, the groups know that bh values their integrity.
Over sexualizing the maknae line is really old and frustrating. Even in other Kpop groups like God damn can they get a break. Im semi happy it's gone down but it's still presented that maknae line is overly portrayed. I'm just glad that the boys get free reign over their craft and do what they please with it.

I love how Jin is such a rebel and i hate how they always give him the least lines, he deserves the absolute best of evrything, they all do but i wish they all could shine because i don't like the way people see those that call Jungkook their bias. In my opinion, Bighit, along with some other companies, are he best when it comes to treatment of their idols. There are no restrictions of not dating, marrying, or anything useless. They always support their artists when there are rumours, for Jim Jones controversy, and Itaewon controversy. They are not forced to be perfect at all times like some idols have to, it's their choice to wear makeup or not, have insta, twitter. There are no mistreatment regarding screen timing, all of them artists speak, and barely any of their words are cut out from what I see. Bts, who was always mistreated at tv shows, bighit gave them run bts so that they can enjoy themselves. They take care of the artists, when some txt members fell sick, bighit released a statement about it, didn't stress them out or work them out, and provided them with a doctor. When at concerts, one of the bts members fall sick, they always have the option of cancelling the concert. I see that bighit is one of the best companies out there, and if you don't think so, you haven't seen SM, YG, and Starship entertainment.

@@kookieswithtae._.8141 exactly, of the stage fell at that stage, many of them would have been badly injured, despite that, they made sure that they weren't hurt. I think the bighit staff is one of the best.

As much I agree with these issues, I feel like this was in BigHit’s earlier years. As time has passed, I feel like bighit has improved when it comes to their artists. I’m not saying they’re perfect bc every company (some more than others) have their flaws. But bighit seems to take care of their artists and make sure that they are okay. Feel free to correct me(respectfully) if I’m wrong or missing something

The boys have clearly stated multiple times that they overwork themselves for the sake of ARMYs and you can see that the staff has always supported them in their time of need. You can see all that in the docu-series, lives, and in other videos. It's true that the first long break that they had was of last year but that does not mean that they dont have short breaks (like a week) once in a while. Do you personally know what is happening behind the scenes? No, none of us fans know that. Bighit is a good entertainment company and if you can't see that with all the evidence because you always want to victimize the boys then I don't know what to say to you.

About the overworking I feel that the members know their responsibilities very well. Yoongi writes song even when they are on vacation. Bighit never told jimin to loose weight. Even the members never knew he wasn't eating. He did that due to hate. But I agree with you on the abs showing part. Also they were a typical hip-hop group that time. They released songs like A TYPICAL TRAINEE'S CHRISTMAS before debut which is clearly a diss song towards their company. And Bighit let them release it!
I don't like when bighit gives Jin less lines. But still I'll say Bighit is wayyyyyyyy better than YG or JYP.

well we don’t know why. I’ve fainted before because of my anxiety. Might be that, maybe he wasn’t eating right leading up to it or is jet lagged. Maybe it’s medical problem. there are MANY reasons for someone to faint not just fatigue. And if the reason is fatigue then it’s not completely Bighits fault. They have to work extra hard and 24/7 bc that’s just what their job is

I would like to add another thing which bighit did and I thought was questionable:
The American Hustle Life Kidnapping prank...It made me feel really uncomfortable watching it and the boys were really young at the time and in a foreign country. They couldn't speak English fluently and Jungkook was like 15 (maybe 16) when it happened. It *could* have been a really traumatizing experience for them at the time.

It’s kinda hard to not see some form of sexualization in dancing and just entertainment in general. I’m in high school and in both of our hip hop routines for dance team, there were twerking parts, we wore crop tops sometimes for those hip hop routines too, and our Pom/jazz dresses are really short. Not saying it’s ok, but an ab flash wasn’t the worst considering the fact that it’s more “normal” (Atleast in the west, idk about over there) to see boys shirtless. However, since the boys were uncomfortable or just didn’t want to go through the stress of keeping abs, big hit should have just kept that part out of the choreography.
yes and it is not the first time that jimin dances half naked. if you see videos of him doing contemporary dance he was literally in his underwear.🤷

1. I feel like there's a reason why bighit would put those clips or BTS hyperventilating and fainting in the first place, not to expose themselves (cuz that's just stupid) but to give us the raw footage of their struggles behind the scenes.
2. I was always mad abt them doing that "showing off abs" with the maknae line when they actually had hyung line who were not underage but still, the members feeling discomfort while performance just to please our eyes isn't my cup of tea
3. The fact that BTS have zero dating "scandal" surprises me so much, like this huge artist being in this industry for almost a decade now.... But who knows, maybe they do go on dates and we're not stalked down by dispatch and I really do hope that's the case
4. Bighit isn't the worst company and if u do think so, u haven't come across pledis, yg, sm and all those garbage hoes but we can't argue that there's NO MISTREATMENT in bighit's case but it has gotten a lot better now a days.
5. The way I was mad as fuck when they did 100s of comebacks in just 3 years (the love yourself era) and also did world tour, had zero time off but at the end bighit called it a day by giving them 2 months vacation (I mean, something is better than nothing but..... 2 months..... Okay....)

And I know, so many idols have it way way worse but still, sexulisation of idols shouldn't be accepted and just cuz it's just one part where they show their abs or watever, it shouldn't be normalized

@byenn Of course they have to look comfortable while doing it so that it pleases the "fans". It's wrong on so many levels to sexualize a minor or any person but it's not just about that a lot of pressure was put on them to have abs and perfect muscles. Jungkook was 15 when he was expected to have perfect abs while dieting and practicing hard that's not healthy at all. Jimin was put on a lot of pressure and got very insecure about his looks, when he lost his abs and got a lot thinner he got a lot of hate for it and people were body shaming him just because he didn't live up to their toxic standards which led to him starving himself during bst era and fainting during practices. It wasn't just sexualization which is pretty bad itself they were putting pressure on minors and young adults to have "perfect bodies" and certain images that they had to live up to just to please "fans". Sadly most idols deal with these things some have it worse than others but that still doesn't make any of it right.

at the end of the day, bh and other companys' goals are to make money, whether theyre a good company or a bad one. but one positive thing about bh is that they dont hide anything the members do (like jin changing his hair color etc) and they dont hide it like sm and yg. bh tbinks about bts health unlike sm and yg.

A) Bighit really had to protect their image and reputation back then as they were a new and small company.

Bighit has given a huge tonne of artistic freedom to BTS. And no they are not overworking them. It’s bts’s own personal work ethic which is rigorous. Apart from that maknae line is not overshadowing the hyung line. They all have discussions as to who’s going to perform what part of the song and this “maknae line overshadowing hyung line” is old-school now. Stop dividing the fandom. Love all of them equally.
Tbh bighit at first during early debut years might have mistreated/ overworked the members but there is NO WAY that, that is possible now. Bighit definitely acknowledges how they are practically in debt to BTS for saving the company from bankruptcy and because of them are now able to expand into a multi label company.

Each company has it's own flaws and stuff, but I gotta say, comparatively, BigHit is certainly up in the top 3 for me. They treat their artists more fairly, even though there are times when they overwork them. Jin has mentioned how much he's thankful for being in a good company and also for his members. Also, the process of selection is something I admire. Bang PD doesn't only look at talent, but also the attitude and personality of that trainee. There were several members who were to be debuted in BTS but they didn't get through since they didn't have the humble attitude that the members of BTS we all know have. He even mentioned that it's his policy that an arrogant artist can never succeed. He has my respect for that And they give a lot of artistic freedom, and that's one reason why so many people love BTS, because the members actively engage in lyric writing and producing, so they can actually write about their personal experiences and even some very personal incidents that not many people would want to share. Also, JYP is also a comparatively good company, and the fact that Hitman Bang and JY Park are close friends says it all😂These two companions really treat their artists more fairly than some of the others

@@keziasunny7 why I've noticed they give enough freedom for their boy groups too tho. I could be wrong, but from what I've observed, he seems really nice to the boy groups too, especially Stray Kids. They even write, compose and do choreographies all by themselves with very minimal help from JYP staff. This shows how much he trusts his boy groups, right?

Also jyp trashed a lot of JB songs without even listening for 1min... Taking all of the credit for jackson Wang team productions as his own... When he dint do shit...fans dint get information about the album release links because of which they could not chart or better support got7... No prior planning... It's sad.. I like got7 and listen to a lots of their songs
If I were their manager I would let them dye their hair any color but it would have to fit the concept. Honestly I think they should get a month or two off some that they can have fun or relax.

I just wanna point out something if you have been an army long enough and watched some their shows beside their music( run,bomb,vlive,whatever)you would've know all the members are pretty much workaholics. Especialy RM and yoongs. They work even in their spare times.

I can't see that there are still more mankae biased ARMYs but Idk over the last 2 years as an ARMY I saw biased and praises for all the members in similar numbers (my experience)

I know I'm late but I think Bighit deserves to have an applause. Bighit doesn't manipulate BTS. Because Jin owns Bighit-I mean Jinhit.
If Bighit doesn't treat BTS well, maybe we're not blessed by variety shows and behind the scenes, MV's with fantastic stories and meanings, the clips in here that saying they have to go on a diet chuchu, adleast they have their freedom of speech.
Things like, main vocal, dancer, rapper, etc. It's normal because other kpop bands have that too. Everyone has lines but sometimes the other vocalist doesn't have many lines, it's never a problem. BTS said they never really care about lines.
The letter Bang PD sent in Bon Voyage 1 (2016), for me, is a very sincere letter.
Bang PD said that he's not going to tell them he is not proud yet because he's a greedy person, BTS have to wait for 2-3 years and if they're in the top, that's the day he'll say it. And look at them now. 💜 (I don't really remember the lines of the letter because I watched it last year). Which is really interesting to me because Bang PD called himself greedy and I liked the honesty.
I think Bighit is not the problem, it's the people who disrespects them, sexualizing them, hating them, disrespecting them, solo stans that doesn't love all the members, the toxic fans, everything that's negative.

I think Big Hit Entertainment has been doing a great job for BTS BOYS, in developing their talents and skills in singing, dancing and in Big Hit's promotions and advertisements of the WORLDWIDE HANDSOME SUPERSTARS. But of course, it's a fact that still, Big Hit Entertainment is a company that needs to make profits for the company's expenditures. For promotional gimmicks I don't think nor even contemplate that Big Hit Entertainment is manipulating the Happenings with BTS BOYS. Whereas, especially today, BTS BOYS with their WORLDWIDE Popularity and SUPER STARDOM, promoters and entertainment agencies/producers won't get a hard time to promote or "sell" BTS BOYS Concerts and Engagements to the public, ARMIES and the Public are waiting for their all out and fabulous Performances. If and only if Big Hit Entertainment will condone to show a little skin like what Jiminie did and showed his abs and later Jungkookie, maybe a little gimmick to excite the ARMIES but I think at this point in time, The BTS BOYS as famous and as great performers that they are, they don't need to do it anymore, because they are already famous, but for artistic sense and excitement their performances are enough and may show sexiness through BTS BOYS wardrobe or say, costumes. Why I think like this, BTS BOYS are so fortunate to have JUNIOR ARMIES ( who look up to them as role models and Hyungs. Well, kids are alSo watching them. Maybe a show or program of "BTS BOYS teaching their dance grooves or one Video of 30 kids dancing with BTS BOYS or teaching those kids, after some sessions a mini dance festival of BTS BOYS and the JUNIOR ARMIES. I think BTS BOYS and Big Hit Entertainment are family and they love each other but there must be a check and balance thAt all the Company and Talent's concerns are Addressed properly and justly, so everyone is happy, motivated and contented. Love BTS BOYS, the WORLDWIDE ARMIES, the BTS's Family and Big Hit Entertainment. Love love love!

Lmao when did jimin say he likes his abs and wants to show them? It's literally a known fact that in their first years jimin wasn't confident especially about his body and his vocal skills that's why he went on extreme diets that aren't even diets it's basically starvation. His debut image revolved around his abs and muscular looks (he has said that he didn't like their concept and that he wasn't comfortable in his own skin) which made him more self conscious that he overworked himself to maintain them but then he wanted to be thinner and when he lost them he got hate for it. Bighit isn't an angel i know it's much better than any other kpop company aka. Sm, YG, Jyp, Pledis etc. But that doesn't mean that they haven't done anything wrong. They put pressure on teens to go on diets while practicing for 14-16 hours daily which is not healthy or good in any way.
I just want them to post bts's mvs on bangtantv and let it grow so bts can get the credit for their subscribers😭 plus i want physical mixtapes

bighit is a good company. bts have a voice, they ask for things and bighit allows it. we've seen this happen in vlives a lot. they are allowed to write/produce/choreograph their own music, and money is never their top priority. let's be real, not many companies are like that.

for me, Bighit is a great entertainment when it comes to kpop. Like y'all saying, "The Big 3" treat their artist like robots, and manipulating them. Well, I stan BTS from the beginning. It's kinda, awkward or I'm uncomfortable when they're showing their abs coz I was raised in a conservative family. So everytime they did that, I looked away. As years goes by, Bighit improved a lot. They protect their artist as much as we want to protect them and doesn't manipulate their personal lives. Honestly the performance and then fainting and stuff the company cant control. We often see them be told to slow down and when they aren't well they dont perform unlike other company that made their artists perform in neck brace

For me there is no such thing as a good company in kpop. It’s just that some company treat their artists more better than others. But that doesn’t mean they are good too bcuz they sometimes treat their artists wrong..

No company is a perfect company, but they're not the worst as well.
For oxygen part it's actually because their choreography is so hard and the members dancing so passionately. It's quite painful to watch it but still they want to do their best for their performances, so idk who need to be blame for this.
True there are so many groups who performs tough choreography but the reason why BTS has to use oxygen masks is given below
in my perspective, bighit have beeen thru it. bighit went from being on the verge of bankruptcy to being a very huge and successful company. i guess they are scared of returning to the old days and is probs why they use bts (main money maker) to rake in profit. and therefore lead to overworking and exhaustion. at some point theyre gna have to lay off.. but remember when bts had a "break".. and it ended early (idk if its cus bighit or bts was bored and wanted to continue their work. )
