True but to be fair we was still greaving abou5 cadye-6 death and we did not want another hunter vanguard for a long time to honor Cadye but now we know crow and for a hunter I saw he deserves to be vanguard he just need to be more relax is all we hunters are more relaxed when we are not doing other stuff or just want to be toxic
thats why i have the spinning knife animation or sit down animation when this happens...or more hilariously when i did this campaign, cozy campfire, ikora and zavala just yelling at each other while my titan friend and i just sit at the campfire roasting marshmallows like "👀 👀 ...yall good?"

You know, it's oddly nice to see them getting along...despite the circumstances that brought them to this point. I'm guessing we just have Cayde back now? I mean, after the final shape is said and done with? Honestly, I'm wondering if this is the last set of seasons for Destiny as a whole. We spent all this time building up to the big scary black doritos in space, and now we're here, fighting the main bad guy. Or at least, working up to that point. Feels so weird, I stopped playing Destiny 2 back in the third season. Hated what it was becoming, how much it cost just to play a little segment that wouldn't likely exist in the next 6-8 months. So I've just been keeping track through watching the cutscenes for each season. If you told me back in the days of Destiny 1 that Cayde would have died and then wished back to life, I think I'd have called you stupid. But here we are, that's our reality lol.
I'd say it's too early to tell. Back in season of the wish, the techeuns were able to bring back the shade of Riven by forcing it's paracasual energy back into a familiar form, but only for a brief time. Cayde's not a wish-dragon, but I assume his situation follows similar rules and that his body won't hold itself together forever. We also don't know what the conditions of the wish are.

Crow’s mistake was thinking that the Hunter Vanguard was 100% serious business all the time when it’s 25% serious business and 75% witty banter.
In reality, the Hunter Vanguard's role within the Vanguard is to remind his friends to stop and enjoy the little things.

The first hint was when we met him again and he mentions about coming from the light and he feels that he was back for a reason
And it's hinted again that Cayde misses being wherever he was before being pulled back more than he missed Ikora.
