This is why i think he's much better as a mc than yuta would have been. Yuta was blessed. Yes yuji was blessed by kenjaku's plan but i think it's more of a curse. He was always great as a human but then started at the bottom of the ladder in the sorcerer world and fundamentally grinded to learn all that he has with some great glowups. Yuji's growth through developing relationships with those around him rather than "shedding" wants/needs/connections like gojo did to geto after his awakening and sukuna's almost absolute solitude shows how the sorcerer world is fundamentally flawed which gojo/yuta/toji all showed previously through their ideology but not necessarily with their actions.
I can't wait for yuji to pull out the benevolent arts and craft station.

Like even gojo has one maybe 2 moments where they enter "the zone"(not talking black flash) and it's really just technical and not very emotional. Yuji has SUFFERED to be who he is even if he was born "blessed" but he never knew that and still doesnt even know it fully and it'll probably get revealed as a kenjaku sealing gojo moment to try and trip him up.

@@user_Z-its not. It’s very versatile in close and long range combat. The fact you can effectively water bend it means you can use it for defense and offense. Its a very well rounded ct and honestly your imagination is the limit with how crazy you might go with it. Just look how Yuji just reattached his limb after it flown off. Its much more effective then regenerating an entire new leg. I honestly would say its better than curse manipulation bc of how you can adjust to almost any situation.
You can set traps, homing arrows, use it as a cage, use it to boost your body, create new weapons…
That got proven with Choso, the best blood manipulation users arent even from the clan 😂
@@fork-manI know it’s been stated to be something that holds him back but Yuji is a human for a reason. Yuji has to be a human and him having bl is also on purpose so I think we have yet to see what a human can achieve. But like you said even nerfed its great.
People always downplay JJK characters by saying “They lose to domain expansion”. Domain expansion is actually super rare when you really think about it (disaster curses were an anomoly caused by Gojo’s existance, Sukuna and Kenjaku are from the past leaving, and Higaruma was created by Culling Games, even Gojo himself is an anomoly that’s debatable) leaving only 5-6 naturally occuring users in the world. Not having one is not bad at all.
People might be overly harsh but you still cant really be a proper top tier without adressing it. As rare as it technically is its a pretty sizable list still
It's still quite the big feat to have, only Kashimo doesn't have a DE but he's still top 10, cause of his HWB, which can't be destroyed unlike SD i think.
Maki and Toji doesn't really get affected by the sure hit, so not having a DE isn't that bad at all, they'll just suffer the boost DE gives to a sorcerer.

But I'm looking at the top tier sorcerers, the ones that would actually be in the conversation for strongest sorcerers. The point I wanted to make is that the entire Edo period are Base Kashimo victims, with the only possible exception being Ryu since he never met Kashimo. Hakari beat base Kashimo, Yuta beat Ryu, Maki is implied to be on the same level as them, Yuji is able to fight alongside them, etc etc. Kashimo being the strongest in the Edo period in BASE speaks more to how incompetent the top tier sorcerers of that era were in comparison to the top tier modern era sorcerers are, in my opinion.

I know it was stated that Yuji has low cursed energy reserves in the beginning of the series but I kinda doubt that’s the case now. Gege in the fanbook said that if Yuji ate the death wombs they would be converted into cursed energy. I agree that Yuji probably expends little CE in order to use RCT, but I would imagine after eating the death paintings his Ct reserves are probably large, or at the very least greater than they were at the start of the manga.

If you say that Choso, Eso, and Kechizu's cursed objects were on par or somewhat below a finger bearer in terms of raw cursed energy, having eaten the other 6 Death Paintings who were Grade 1 objects and below, Yuji could at this point have cursed energy reserves comparable to Special Grade Curses.
Add physical abilities only second to a few select sorcerers and Heavenly Restricted, speed to keep up with them, 2 renowned techniques, RCT at a reduced cost, Soul and Poison Resistance, Simple Domain with debuff effects, punches that do soul damage, unbelievable perseverance and pain tolerance, and hitting Black Flashes suspiciously often.
Saying he's not in Special Grade Tier is sort of delusional at this point. He'd demolish any of the disaster curses and would bare minimum hold his own against strong reincarnated sorcerers.

To add to Yuji's RCT just remember, he already was a tank BEFORE learning RCT. Dude took a lot of serious damage in his fights and still kept going. Now add healing to that and he should be hard as hell to put him down
Yuji has landed more than 10 black flashes. He hit 8 in these recent chapters alone. He hit multiple in his first fight againt hanami, he hit one against the cursed womb death paintings, and the black flashes he hit mahito with.

Uhhh I interpreted the soul statement differently. Yuji expressed his concern the swapping the soul directly would change the shape of the body just like with mahito’s idle transfiguration.
Then ui ui responds by saying he’s only swapping the contents of the soul (with the present analogy) and not the soul itself. So the box (aka the shape of the soul) effectively stays the same despite its contents being swapped.
And thus gets around the body changing in response to the soul issue
Honestly I think Yuji has far higher ce reserves than most think bc he ate all the cursed wombs had the 15 fingers when a vessel and his origins

Yea i think any opponent yuji fights regardless of if they have multiple souls in their body are vulnerable to his soul hits because most sorcerers aren’t aware of their souls so even if it doesn’t lower their output they still won’t be able to recover from his hits which makes pretty in a fight

I'm honestly gonna call yuji uses his domain expansion this next chapter, cause 99 seconds of sukunas domains overkill for the currently there fighters, and yuji being the most promising one and without a REAL counter to it instead of a defense and only a defense it just makes sence to me
17:30 the reason sukuna goes into his heian era state is because of the restrictions he had gotten from the binding vow used to kill gojo. The restrictions are him pointing a directions and folding his hands (and I’m pretty sure speaking the kanji if I remember correctly). This would definitely be a nerf to him in meguna form. But he basically planned the binding vow to make these restrictions the cost of his world slash with no hand signs or anything to kill gojo because heian era form, which has multiple arms and mouth, would bypass these restrictions.

In regards to Sukuna's domain in ch 258, I think it says that Sukuna managed to retain its range and output (which I assume means its power), with its main drawback at that time being its time limit, so Yuji's simple domain was able to withstand its full power, I wouldn't be suprised if Sukuna also focused its power mainly on Yuji as well.

Im pretty sure that's someone else using simple domain in Miwa's body and I would wonder if its not someone else piloting the Sheisty Sourcerer who's name I cant remember after he used his technique. I wonder if there is a time limit for how long you have to be in someone elses body or if he can only swap the souls twice in one month which would usually be into someone else and then back... but we could have had people beginning this fight in someone else's body as part of the strategy with plans to sub them out and switch them back at some point because of the way the stipulations work.

Realistically how many touches of mahito would it take for yuji to actually receive damage. He's soul is super strong on the level similar to sukuna . So besides mahito getting speed blitz by yuji can mahito even damage him ?

The effects of RCT are actually a lot more pricy then then doubling the amount of CE used. You’re actually multiplying 100 with 100 not 100 with two. So 100 CE would be closer to 10 000 used not 200.

Just want to mention that the way the narrative explains it; if one would normally use 100 CE points for some action, it would take a 1000 to heal (since its multiplicative rather than additive). That both explains why Gojo is so good at it (his initial numbers for any effect being so low) and why Hakari's domain makes him OP. Every other human character who actually has to regenerate limbs with only RCT (Gojo included) is immensely affected by doing so, besides Hakari; which wouldn't be such a special thing if it was an additve application of CE required to use RCT.
Glad u touched on yuji vs some of the strongest. But I would have to disagree on kashimo not making sukana transform so ur telling me if sukana didn’t transform he would have killed mba kash. But yea yuji is definitely up there. But I feel like kashimo would adjust after gettin hit wit 1 black flash and idk how but I think kash COULD come up wit a way to deal with his rct. And im probably missing something here considering what we have seen yuji take but would kash’s trait still affect yuji

I think there's a bit of misconception about the effect of Yuji's soul punches: it was never stated nor implied that his attacks are dealing actual soul damage (unlike Maki's soul-splitting katana and Nobara's Resonance for instance), simply that they are dissociating the incarnated soul from their vessel's body hence diminishing CE/RCT output and physical control (thus reducing strength, speed, agility, dexterity). Mahito was a special case because his nature as a curse and his cursed technique are intertwined with his soul
One of the reasons I've always supported Yuji as the goat is because he had no blessings. Even as the son of kenjaku, a blood manip user and now heir to the shrine technique, it's not like things were ever easy for him. Thats why he's THE GOAT

Six can u please do a Naruto vs luffy video. For a while now I’ve been on Naruto’s side but gear 5 is slowly making me rethink that
First of all just because he got kusukabes training does not mean he obtained his level. Like they said in the flashback he technically got this training from sukuna already and while that has helped him its nowhere close to close to sukunas level from it. Until we get feats from it their is no reason to just assume its better than a basic 1. Also he did not outlast the domain sukuna just swaped to the fire arrow after his simple domain broke. This also required him to maintain the pose to do this which means in most practical scenarios it wont help in the 1v1 that much its just a stall tactic. At best it might buy him a clutch second to land an attack.
While this will probally change very soon he is likely going to loose a fight against anyone pulling out a real domain besides like the small pox deity lol

Choso can reattach his limbs, but he has to keep it up because the skin and muscles won't stay put. Since he's half curse fully, it's questionable if he can even use RCT to the same extent.
Yuji can reattach it, use a tiny amount of RCT and it's like nothing ever hapenned.

The thing is, Kashimo is weaker if he fights anyone that's not Sukuna. Using MBA Kashimo to scale the character doesn't really make sense in a 1v1 scenario. He wouldn't use his technique anyway

If After all those black flashes & top tier performance against a sukuna that even while damaged merked everyone, if after all that people still downplay yuji, den all hope is lost.
Blood Manipulation doesn't allow you to regen blood with CE, otherwise Kamo wouldn't have had that problem, it is likely that Yuji eating the death paintings GAVE him that power(maybe even the poison blood? Wouldn't be useful against Sukuna of course, due to him being in Megumi's body who can take in the poison that is the fingers, but it could help with power scaling debates) alongside Blood Manipulation and possibly whatever the hell his arm is, because Choso and Kamo have shown nothing like that before
