    The CIA guy and Zizek should debate. I swear, if Zizek had a guy to paraphrase his thoughts, that debate would be reality breaking for the guy in the black suit

    • @BoothTheGrey
      @BoothTheGrey 17 дней назад

      No - the guy would just ignore it or has already established reasons in his head why the stuff Zizek tells him is somehow irrelevant for him. Our brain has many mechanisms: One is to stay in a mindset no matter how far away from reality it is.

    "I think my ego is smaller" could not be more wrong and presumptuous egoicly as it attempts to elevate oneself thru minimizing the egoic construct. 😊 Low egoic people never talk about how little egoic influence they feel.
    When you hear "my ego is small" you must assume the opposite of true else why bring it up?
    Egoicly driven people will reply negatively.

    I understand the fact: when we talk about true, since all is relative, we can't 100% agree about almost nothing and that's annoying, specially for scientist. But that "I have a dog" example was so ignorant: if your "dog" belong to a kind that not every scientist agree they are dogs, thinking they belong to another cathegorie, is not abolutelly true (you could have said "Pluto is a planet", but we changed cathegories so it's not true now). Not talking about what it means "I" and "to have" (our notions are similar but you can't define it perfectly, or without disagreement). Not talking about "this is all a dream", or "we live in a program" or any theory that contemplates things are not like we percieve (this last is so accepted). So, philosofically, that was so dumb, despite I get how annoying and frustratintg is to relativice everything. First woman was right: let's do what works, and proved to work, not talk about true, a deep philosophicall concept that you guy will not fix today saying it is so simple.

    Industrial farming is not just profitable, but it's absolutely necessary to feed people. We've eaten most wild animals just to survive to this point. Humans aren't naturally plant eaters, yes its part of the diet, but meat is essential for brain power. The need to hunt i believe has been essential for brain development in human beings. It sets us at the top of planetary intelligence. It's essential to survive whether you like it or not,otherwise, we eat all animals, and then we parish. Peace ✌️ 😎.
