I've started a planner for my book, and I've also started using the hero's journey story structure. Been writing this book since I was 11. Now I'm 14. So what I wanna do before 2022,is finish my book and get it published.
Isla's little laughs and noises in the background are so cute lol. Congrats on your progress! I did a bit of planning for my project and it boiled down to like a few hours worth of work altogether. Yay for short stories!
I have been so tempted to write some short stories but I've never done it so of course it makes me nervous haha
Also, I didn't notice all the Isla noises until editing 😂
@@VivienReis I used to not really do short stories when I was younger. I’d only do long form type of stories and things that took up so much time and effort. But I really wanted to get together a bunch of things I can submit to anthologies or literary journals while I work on my main series. I also wanted to improve my writing super fast. So decided this year that I would do a collection that I can publish for next Halloween, and any of the stories that don’t make the cut for that I can use elsewhere!
I am SUCH a pantser lol I tried outlining for the 1st time this NaNoWriMo and I've already strayed from my outline at least 4 times 😅
Lol it's funny how we're all so different. At least you tried to know it might not work for you! I always veer away at some point but I stay 90% on track.
Wish it was easier for me to pants!! I'm a planner, I've realised!
Coming up with the specific details in outlines is the hardest part!

I'm doing Nano but only expected to reach 20k if I was lucky with having three little ones and a crazy life. Well I've almost got to 20k already and I'm so happy.

Yes to outlining being so draining. So many decisions 🤤 . I'm like you though where I really have to have those main pieces figured out or I feel like I just am wasting time. So good to see this vlog. Really enjoying seeing your daily life and process!

I had neck issues when I had kids. Try laying flat on your back on the floor with a towel rolled under your neck for five minutes every day! Bayer back & body works amazing in a pinch.
Roll the towel in a 4-5 inch tube

I am SO GLAD you have started uploading again. I totally get how hectic things are with little ones, so I understand having to take a break to focus on what’s going on in your life, but I have missed your videos so much!

I only decided to take part in NaNo the week before, I used a spreadsheet to quickly outline, I've got a video where I go into more detail on it.

Hey
I watch so many movies and TV. Now that I'm trying to write as an actual writer, I find watching that stuff is SUCH a different experience than before.
Way to go! :) I'm taking a short break from writing today and making a scene/event list for myself to fill in the gaps between my plot points outline. I think it'll help me a lot.

Editing is my hardest part!! And I just had to keep that little Isla moment in the vlog 🥰 Some of those candid little tidbits I know I'll love looking at in a year or two!

Odd question, but I'm in the market... What type of RV do you have? I like that yours looks like a home and it's gorgeous.
Thank you! It's a 2016 LaCrosse Luxury Lite 329BHT. It was really important to us that the bunkhouse be separated from the bathroom (because the shower/toilet woke Isla in our last rig) and that there be the double slides in the living space so there's an island with tons of room. We spent a couple months painting it up but I'm in love with it!! So happy we took the time to find the perfect rig. (We also bought it off FB marketplace, and it had been in a covered garage since the people had bought it. We lucked out finding a great one that wasn't at a dealer!)
