Living close to an airport where a PAF unit has 2 of these stationed there, and hearing them fly around our city always made me feel like I kid.
With the on-going decommissioning of these vets, I have not heard a huey in quite a while now
Same. I only hear black hawks

Someone said: " The image and sound of helicopters Huey UH - 1 is a part of Vietnam war ". Yes, it is true as for me personally.
The image and sound of helicopters Huey UH - 1 starting up, taking off and landing everyday at a small helicopter airport in front of my Quoc Hoc high school after " TET Mau Than " 1968 have engraved upon my mind. And many Huey UH - 1 helicopters were shot down by V.C from 1968 to end of Vietnam war.
Especially, I saw directly a crash of a Huey UH - 1 right after taking off and was sunk deep at the bottom of Huong Giang river in Hue city ( behind the Quoc Hoc stone stele ), very very sorrowful there was a pilot of VNAF died at that time.

The 'marshaller' doesn't really appear to know what he's doing.
Think the pilots saw that too, he gave the “hold” signal and they just kept going

How do they get parts when they need them cause ik for a fact they are exactly like ah-1w old wiring and old components that break after every flight
Sx714xA u obviously haven't been around a huey stuff rarely breaks that it needs to be replaced stuff like starter generators will shit out but not a lot breaks on Huey's

Raginghothead Yeah... don’t try to show off it makes you guys look like a joke. He meant it more as in it’d be cool but it’s sad that an airforce is still using the old H models. Get yourself a Y or something then you can show off.
I can forgive the wrong grammars but mistaking the Blackhawks as a product of Sukhoi is a sin beyond measures for an aircraft enthusiast.
"There must be some kind for way out of here," said the joker to the thief.

This helicopter was given to the them by Singapore
zachary choy No, given by USA. Refurbished, by Singaporean company.
No...it was given by US...you need to learn more about America...they gave us helicopter after Vietnam war which is Bell-Uh 1 Huey that USA used as mobility since 1963-1975 and they tested it since 1957...and the Filipinos also fought war with USA since ww2-Vietnam war...there was no other war that Filipino fought with them...
Them* sorry I thought ur Filipino I meant “they gave them”
