The one in Motera is absolutely HUGEEE, I had a seat few rows below that big screen, and I even counted the seats they left to fit in that giant screen, there were almost 60-70 seats space (width wise).
@@5150Amrit dude when you say huge I agree the stadium capacity is absolutely insanely huge...but one of the out field is only about 54m in length and the longest being 74m which is a bit embarrassing! It should have been at least 85m in length...
@@ajay_constantine That's because the match officials cropped in 6-8 meters boundary size from the fence in England series & in IPL matches to make the field more rounded in shape rather than it's actual Oval shape. Motera has a oval shaped field with a size of 164 meters (Side) x 138 meters (Straight), so if the officials left the minimum allowed distance from the ropes to the fence which is 2.74 meters as per ICC rules, then the boundary size from the center pitch would have been 78-80 meters both sides & 70-72 meters straight & 58-60 meters behind the wicket. In comparison to Motera's 164 meters (Side) x 138 meters (Straight) field size, it is only 6-7 meters smaller than 3 Australian stadiums- MCG(171 meters Side X 146 Meters Straight) & The Gabba(170 meters Side X 148 meters Straight) & Optus Stadium(177 meters Side X 141 meters Straight) but either on par or larger than other popular Australian Cricket stadiums like Adelaide Oval(126 meters Side X 167 meters Straight), SCG(154 meters Side X 156 meters Straight), Manuka Oval, Canberra(167 meters X 138 meters) & it is in India's Top 5 International Cricket stadiums in terms of size of the field.
To understand what I said above, checkout the image below in the link, that SIX went into that big cropped bounday region where a security guy caught it, still it was 79 meters hit & that security guy was atleast 3 meters away from the fence where the ropes should have been placed instead. The Australian stadiums would have looked small too if their match officials starts to crop off their boundaries by 6-8 meters from the fence instead of flushing the advertisement boards next to the fence. @@5150Amrit what ever they have done to it, the final playfield dimensions are a joke! 54m? Really! My college ground is bigger than the stadium ground. I think ICC should standardise the ground dimensions say between 75-90m in all directions.
