I propably wouldn't mind to clean them. You also get to enjoy the palm trees and they provide a nicer view and extra shade so...why not. Neighbour disputes are more hassle than they're worth. Better a good neighbour than a far living relative/friend is a saying in our country. We all look out for each other too. Loved the upgrade!
I am pumped for a patio. We are not quite ready for patio set up where I live. I use tiki torches with citronella oil or are you citronella candles. My neighbors are really super nice so I pick up The Tree mess that their tree leaves behind.

Haley, the backyard makeover looks great! I'm SO ready for patio season!!! I live in Michigan on a lake and for some reason, I have been seeing some houses have their boat docks put back out on the lake recently and I'm thinking, "It's too early for this! Can't you wait until late April/early May?!" Apparently not!! 😂
Looks like the houses are pretty close together. Those trees could be part of the easement, best to just sweep them up or blow them. Back yard looking good, love it.

MVP. Hey Haley after I got married we stayed in two rented apartments until we bought our 2BHK in 2022. At that time we wanted to stay childfree so it wasn't a huge one. But we have a 6 mo girl now and we definitely need a bigger space coz this girl needs so much stuffs. So we are already looking for a high rise apartment for buying coz itwill also have gym, playground, joggers park and host of other amenities.

Haha I have the same situation with pine cones and needles. I bag them up and have to carry them up a HUGE hill. Sometimes I throw the cones back over the fence as revenge haha but nothing crazy.

Not sure how it is every where else, but in Ohio you're actually responsible for the parts of the tree that hang over/into your part of the property, even if the trunk of the tree isn't on your property. We've had to deal with a similar issue so we just cut the branches back! 😂
I’m super duper happy I came across your channel. Enjoyed it so much I had to subscribe. Now for your question in regards to the leaves falling over your yard actually made me laugh. I know it can be quite annoying especially if it’s not your palm trees but to avoid any problems I will get rid of it instead of throwing them over 😂 This can cause issues with your neighbor.
def dont throw leaves over the fence! i had a neighbor do that to our yard with a large branch that could have hurt my dog. you should probably just chat to your neighbor and work something out. most of the time, people are really chill if you talk it out. maybe they can tell you a good spot to throw it over the fence on their side even. some places have ordinances about the overhang of trees becomes the house that has the overhang's responsibility, and there are a lot of weird and specific rules about what you can do over a fence. throwing some leaves back might be technically illegal. and if not, bringing back a compost can to put the leaves in is not really any more work than gathering them and throwing them over a fence anyway...
I know this question is old news by now, but what I would do is talk to the neighbors and ask them if it’s okay to pop the debris over the fence to their side. Most people would say yes! The conversation might also go nicely with cookies!
Also, pumped for patio season! We actually have a really nice covered patio out back that has misters along the edges so we can cool down the patio even further when it gets super hot. The mist cools the patio by about 5°F! But more than anything, it’s the shade. Not only is the patio shaded, but so are the windows to our house. It keeps our house much cooler than it otherwise would be. It also makes it much easier to eat outside and enjoy!
