So much fun! I am not a fan of podcasts but that was easy to enjoy. For a tip, how about a friendly reminder to use stitch markers? They can make your life so much easier, especially when working on a garment where the stitch count is paramount.

Loved the episode! I know you mentioned you don't wear sweaters etc. because of your location. But if it's an item like a top, shawl or something you wear all the time, and you blocked it originally, should you re-block the pieces after they're washed?

I have found that they don't need to be re-blocked depending on how you wash it. The dryer will sometimes shrink it a little bit though so in that case you would need to block again.

When doing a gauge, which I never paid attention to doing them, lol, after working it up, do you undo and use the yarn in the pattern workup? Or do you toss and add additional yardage when purchasing yarn for the pattern?

Sometimes I fasten off and sometimes I pull it out. I'd say most of the time I fasten off though.

I love crocheting garments. I always check my gauge, but as I crochet the garment it ends up getting too small. How do I make sure I have the right gauge that will work throughout? Thank you for the podcast. Loved it!!!

Great question! I'll be sure to chat about this in a future episode, but I'd say your tension is probably changing as you go. Mine tends to loosen up as I'm crocheting. Check fit periodically as you crochet the garment and if you're running into it getting smaller either loosen up your tension or go up a hook size or two.
