Nobody is gonna acknowledge the fact that more than once the song is cut abruptly. Ok, now I see, your name is JazzCutter so your thing is not let them finish.
"Bud's Beaux Arts" cut's off abruptly at 53:49 and breaks into the beginning of "Mr. Walker". There are other time stamp errors as noted earlier by Joshua as well.
When the sax begins it seems like an intrusion on Wes's sublime and thoughtful lyricism. Not sure if this is a production issue or if saxophones are generally too loud for combos....
There is no vibraphonist in "Missile Blues". The tune comes from Montgomery's first album, "The Wes Montgomery Trio", recorded in October 1959. The personnel are: Wes Montgomery ~ guitar Melvin Rhyne ~ organ Paul Parker ~ drums Didier Schein, I believe you are mistaking the organ, when played in the upper registers, for a vibraphone.
The vibraphonist in "Bud's Beaux Arts" is Buddy Montgomery, from the album "The Montgomery Brothers In Canada", recorded in September 1961 at The Cellar, Vancouver.
If you want to hear the whole of "Bud's Beaux Arts", search for it on RUclips. There are a number of entries, including an album of that name. The length of the tune is ±7½ minutes. Have fun!
@@hojoinhisarcher I've a funny feeling the very first pressed discs used to play from the centre out. Either that's an urban myth, or maybe it was a very early Betamax vs VHS-style format battle!
Airegin = Nigeria
oh god thanks
Wes Montgomery and his music will live for ever. It is fantastic. Thank you very much for this publication. Hebert Perez Garcia / The Netherlands
And he did all of this with only a thumb, what a genius...

Yes, but his left hand helped too 😁

Perfect.
But...there isn't an album called Airegin?
Wes Montgomery I don't call him great he is beyond that, I'm crazy about this guy's playing
📀📀📀📀
👌🏼👍🏻👏👏👏
Am I mistaken or Jimi Hendrix said Wes was among his favorites ?
Hendrix sometimes used octave playing. That's the most notable thing I see that he might have absorbed from listening to Wes in his playing.
Kenny Burrell is the one who he want to play like if he he was a Jazz guitarist!
Foda
Lovely smooth guitar, sax too raw and high in the mix for my taste compared to the rest.
But Wes is great!

hello, maybe it's a temporary problem.
Or is there a limitation in your country.
I'm sorry
Does Wes's family derive any income from this?
The tone arm never moves in. It's freaking me out.
On the other hand its not moving out,so youre good.

I don't get what this is , a reissue of greatest hits type thing ? Airegin was from The Incredible Jazz Guitar of Wes Montgomery
