Rumor has it, mayweather was actually suppose to only punch big show once in the face, not give him a 4 hit combo, which resulted in getting his nose broken. When big show chased after him, he actually was trying to go after him to fuck up mayweather for not sticking to the intended version of the storyline.

I respect Floyd Mayweather for his respect towards the world of professional wrestling. I think he handled himself like a pro and was a lot more entertaining than the current roster. That first meeting was a shoot and it was obvious that Big Show was mad and because of how fast Floyd and his team got out of there so that shows that in a real fight--- size does matter!

People freakin out. It was a worked shoot and Floyd isn't a wrestler ofc its gonna be hard for him to explain easily. Floyd's assuming everyone knows that the outcomes and storylines are scripted/fake. What he means is he expected to be told to pull his punches and try not to actually connect but was surprised when the WWE wanted him to intentionally punch Big Show in the face for real to make it more believable. Floyd has said in boxing interviews he couldn't believe Show actually wanted his nose broken so he's putting over the "realness" of what wrestlers go through not the outcomes.

There was 2 different incidents between Big Show and Mayweather. 1 was Wrestlemania and the 2nd was on RAW. It was on RAW hyping up the fight when Floyd broke his nose.

It would probably be illegal to have a real fight on the entertainment platform on purpose as it's not "legally" recognized as a sport. It is entertainment. No one broke anyone's nose and during their "real" fight Mayweather still had to wear gloves to protect Big Show!

It was a cheap shot. The Big Show was down on one knee and totally open. Given his deadly accuracy, Floyd could have hit him on the side of the head but he threw four punches aimed at Big Show’s nose and broke it deliberately.
