Ah, I'm so surprised that you still finished this mission in such a "weird" way! Really nice playthrough! I would say that those misunderstandings are mostly because of the difference in language and game understanding/style of mission designing. In the first stage (killing the beacon), Ivan is a key unit that could help players one-shot most targets. 3:46 - The Sentry Gun is designed for players to hack, and then enemy Rhino would attack that Sentry Gun and break the fence at the same time. 4:23 - The Tesla Reactor and Flak are also set for players to hack. You can then sell the Flak for cash but keep that reactor to power up the Tesla Coil later. 11:53 - With the Tesla Coil being powered up, by the reactor you formerly hacked, it would be really easy to take down those patrol tanks. You can almost hack the whole little base before you move across the bridge, and sell all flaks and other defensive buildings for cash. 14:57 - The most unbelievable part of this playthrough! The design is: deal all three enemy units with all of your three Terror Drones! And with the Tesla Reactor, you can hack the Flak Cannon and shoot down both choppers. 24:00 - Since you have no Reactors, you can't power up the Tesla Coil beside that civ building. And that Coil is for players to break through the wall...... Luckily the Rhino helps or you have to restart from the very beginning. 33:32 - It's a bug related to the RA2 engine itself, the same with enemy IFVs and Magnetrons. 33:32 - Also, the final stage (hack the Dominator), is designed as a Co-op one with your new ally. If you go for pure air-based army (maybe also Sea Scorpions against those UFOs), like Choppers and Kirovs, killing enemy Brutes, Yuri, Magnetrons and Masterminds to help your ally, you will find out that the ally can be really powerful with its tanks and infantries.
33:32 could you explain that bug a little more? I've never seen it before nor heard/read about it while still active in the community. Did Ares/Phobos fix it? That *could* explain why I never saw it.
@@CnCDune Since Lynderack Trilogy is under origin YR, it's an unavoidable bug which is on the "known bug list" of the readme file of each mission pack. I suppose the EN version doesn't contain this readme due to the language difference or other reasons.
@@tg.Sacred Yeah, there are side routes and you picked the most "impossible" one, making the Beacon stage a true challenge! And you successfully broke through it. That's pretty cool!
Felt this mission was misunderstood in how you can do stuff to make it easier, know that for a fact, since early stage was really front-loaded and had to save every small progress. Nice gameplay as always comrade & dun worry, you'll see more of Tianshu later on! ❤
I think I know why the browns apocs were shooting so fast. Because hacker guy froze them it reset their attack cooldown when they unfroze and because of how unreliable he is making them into a murder machine. You might be able to exploit it by force firing on ur own units idk haven’t played this mission pack
In fact Red alert 2 and yuris revenge have this glitch which can make any unit that fires more than one shot an infinite weapon And even in MO mod untill patch 3.3.6
i used "Ivan-Car" technique to destroy the bunker near the psychic beacon, and at the early stage of the mission i captured a power plant and used it to have more control and use some defenses in the way.

Oh wow, seems like I really took a completely different route!
Thanks a lot for the valuable info!

Imagine if you did all that mission without saving, just to lose Tianshu at 52:24
Thank God I had two seconds after loading to save him.
What a lovely, if a bit lengthy, mission.
As thought tianshu could hack more than one building, but you seems to unaware of it
Υeah..
This map pack really is vanilla mental omega
Why did RUclips not notify me? I could not care less about it, I found your video anyway 😊

Interesting...
Will check this out, thanks!
works on vanilla Ra2, its a engine bug about stop and fire, works with burst above 2, try with IFV at elite phase, its easy
Bro you will try to play red alert 2 new departures map pack 25 or 30 missions, very good and cool.
Send me a link please!
@@tg.Sacred Ok I will share on discord
You've been missed!
4:26 I think you could have captured that reactor instead of destroying it to get more Conscripts.
Yup, I realized it a bit later.
i used "Ivan-Car" technique to destroy the bunker near the psychic beacon, and at the early stage of the mission i captured a power plant and used it to have more control and use some defenses in the way.
The original background song for this mission is so good. Its name is GIRL UND PANZER.
This mission pack is what Mental Omega should've been. I do like that Mod but its a completely different game to RA2.
Yes, changing the balance (or lack thereof) of a beloved game can and will alienate at least half the fan-base.
@@CnCDune The balancing isn't my issue with MO its just a completely different game.

Mission follows basically the same plot for soviets in act 1 MO. The Chinese government burrowing a Psychic Beacon for their Civil War.

I believe at 8:23 you can use those terror drones to destroy all the tanks first
23:53 you could let the tank open a gap in the wall dude!
As I type, I didn't notice the Rhino!
@@tg.Sacred you did it right at the end 👍❤️
Great playthrough! Well played.
I gave this a try but no Tianshu spawned, I keep resetting and nothing won't spawn
How can I add campaigns?
I cannot change game speed.. can any one help me?

@@tg.Sacred my man .. thank u
Is this mission pack difficult?
Yes
Yes very😂
I see you're watching the videos with your eyes closed!
Tg is playing challenge mode, so yes. The easy mode is not that difficult at all (if you can pass all vanilla missions in hard mode)
From a hopeless mission to absolute torture for the AI.
Btw, that is one of the most useless commando I've ever seen.
