Went to my 1st TSO concert in 2000. Love these old vids and LOL at how impressed we were with the light show back then when it is so tame compared to a TSO show today. I liked the music better back then for some reason. Think because they stayed closer to the original songs instead of going off on long solos during a song. As impressive as the musicians and singers of TSO are I get tired of the straying from the original song so much.
They really need to go back to this storyline. It has so much more of a "Christmas" element to it. The changes to the show haven't been all that impressive (excluding the effects of course) and I want to see this older version back. I really hope there will be a revival.
+QuantumForte actually next year for their 2016 winter tour..they will be doing their Christmas Eve & Other Stories album like they did in 2011.The reason for that is because next year will be the 20th anniversary of the band and of the band's first album..so if that's what your talking about then I suggest going next year! However ultimately..it will be very good To me
+Jd Dehl Yes they are going back to this storyline next year. Paul O'Neill (the founder) said that there was going to be a surprise for the 20th anniversary of the album, which meant that they would be touring it.
Such a Fantastic Show! I have seen TSO over the years and their show has grown tremendously but as far as energy and live sound the early years were the best!
Hi Tyler, I was at this performance, and yes it was truly an honour to (hear) him sing live...and yes we would lose in him in 2004...Yet his vocal talents will live on forever.

I went to my first TSO concert in 2004 and when they played music box blues they played along to his vocal track as a tribute!
