I wouldn't let her into the house, telling her that she is NOT permitted to move in without any sort of discussion with BOTH adult household members (husband/son and wife/DIL) fully and freely consenting...and as I had NOT been consulted, she is NOT moving in.

I have a MIL similar to this story. 15 yrs, I’ve tried to patch things up. Time and Time again. Sometimes people don’t change. Addicted to drama. And it’s not just me, it’s everyone in her life. Truth. My work is involved at this point. Stalker for sure. Just gotta laugh it off. Hold your head high, and a smile on your face.

Mine is almost this bad also. You have to have boundaries and a United front. It’s very very hard. They lie like it’s as natural as breathing. The family had to get together and compare notes. We found out she was asking for money from all of us and saying nobody would help her. We finally figured out she was a gambling addict. Best wishes.

Sadly there are people like this, that manipulate, use and abuse people to get what they want. And they actually get it. This new generation isn't much better I'm affraid, and on top of it they also don't care about their own safety either. They walk out into traffic with their phones glued firmly to their noses. They do stupid stuff like the "tide pod challenge" and the " cinnamon Challenge" and expect everyone to be sympothetic to them for their idiocy.... Sorry, I got off topic. But yes there are spoiled arrogant people out there that actually do this and get away with it for a long time before someone finally calls them on it. But sadly it normally ends in divorce before it comes to a end like this one did. luckily this girls husband listened to his wife and has a head on his shoulders and didn't just follow what his mom was saying blindly.

Molly is not just a hypocrite but at a certain point it was clear a lot of the stuff she was accusing OP of sounded like she was projecting. Molly is lucky Emma & David put up with her for 3 years, she's also lucky Ed* & OP let her stay as long enough to get an apartment for herself let alone lend her money. Molly is lucky that from the sound of the After That they didn't force her to pay them back what she owes them, probably knew despite owing a lot of money it wasn't worth interacting with her cause jfc.
*Who she admitted isn't her favorite child in a passing comment by saying David was the better son & is also in therapy
I'm glad David, Ed & their wives can finally live in peace without the biggest source of stress in their lives being around.
I wonder how Molly is dealing with this? Guessing she was forced to get a job & is annoying her neighbors/coworkers by whining until something forces her to shut up or complain less, like maybe a threat getting in trouble at work or possibility to be evicted as despite her entitlement she probably understands enough to realize she's screwed if she loses her job/apartment since everyone cut her off.(Then again for all I know she's likely keeping to herself thanks to not wanting to deal with strangers) Molly is all alone with no one really to complain to & can't act like a piece of trash to people. She'll never see her family again all cause she can't learn to behave.

When she yelled at him he said :"what, not enough salt?"
She demanded that he buys her a plot of land in her name on wich she can built.
He went and bought a burial plot in her name.
    She yelled
He said he did what she wants. She said she wanted something to built on. He said you can built on it. She asked what.
He said :"a tumb, you can built a tumb. You didn't specify"
She would walk in the bathroom when he was in it.
So when he heard her coming he took her tooth brush.
She came in and he was brushing his eyebrows with it.
She yelled like crazy that he is trying to send her to her early grave.
He said:"Well then it's good that I bought you that burial plot"
She said he is not a kid and has certain age and he is not planing to wise up.
He said :"I also bought you that burial plot a long time ago. My FIL died some time ago, but you're not planing too, right?"
    She was yelling again.
He drove her to the doctor and waited for her in his car.
She came to the parking lot and sat in some other guys car. The man asked her what is she doing in his car and to get out. My BIL was crying from laughter and horned his syrene so she can find him. 3 cars away. She accused him that her reparked the car.
After she saw he is not gonna allow her to crap on him she moved in with her son. Now she is not allowed to do such things anymore and now she lives in the household with her son, DIL, two of her grandchildren who are still living at home.
And with two cats and a dog.
The male cat is driving her nuts. But she is not allowed to do anything or she will be kicked out.
    She is so quiet now.
My BIL should sell his formula for MIL's and how to handle them. He would make good money. 😅😅

Wow. She went from "I'm a sweet little old lady who's getting bullied by my (better) son's wife, she's even kicked out" to "do as I say or I'll make my son divorce you and throw you out!" In the blink of an eye! I don't think I would have even opened the front door for her on day 1 after what she said! And once I'd spoken to my BIL & SIL, and found why _they'd_ kicked her out, and if she spoke to me like that in my own home, I would have packed her bags while she was out for lunch, using _my_ money, and left them on the doorstep for when she got back too!
I'm glad the wife _finally_ stood up for herself, she lasted waayyy longer than I would have! I just wish the sons of these women would do the standing up for a change, and not leave their poor wives to be harrassed by their psycho harpy of a mother!

There is a difference between someone requesting and forcing you to do something you may not want to. This is the time when your senses become alert. When someone claims you are so much better than their previous experience, then there it is "YOUR BIG RED FLAG". The only people who will say that you are kind, understanding, and helpful, but with a remark stating that they are facing hardships, there's no one to help them, praises of Gods and Saints, that they have no one to go to, negativity about everyone and everything, are the people you should stay away from. They are far too dangerous than the chemical CYANIDE.
Don't allow other's to influnece you with their sob stories, until and unless it were the truth. People who are suffering and smuggling in spite of their efforts, will always be shy and feel ashamed to ask for help. On the contrary, those who are shameless don't give a crap to ask you for something they want because, it is not their needs or necessities, it is their way of living life.

Wilful ignorance. I'm 70 now, and I was married to my ex at 19( I know!). I took care of the bills, could take meter readings so I would know what the bill was ,and I think most of our generation did. But they play on the age thing, which is ridiculous, because most of them don't even seem to have reached sixty!
