We did this one year in November I believe. At the 2nd saddle we came across an area that had literally thousands of Monarch Butterflies. Apparently it’s part of their migration route. It was unreal. Otherwise it’s a fantastic hike we have done quite a few times over the years.
This is a hike that's always been on my list, but is a reserved goal, and this video re-affirms why, lol, with some of those steep scrambles. Thanks for sharing this!
