Another great video Martin & Sharon. I've never been to Lincoln, but after watching this, would like to some day. That's what's so great about your out and about vlogs, you showcase areas that some of us may not have visited before. You're like a tourist information service! Really good editing and lovely music in this one too Martin. Xx
Thank you Martin and Sharon another great video. How lovely is Lincoln, I remember walking up Steep Hill, think I had to stop a few times to catch my breath. A beautiful City would definately recommend for a weekend visit. Xx
Hi Martin and Sharon, loved looking round the museum, i'm 68 now when i was a child we had a tin bath like that and a mangle and poss tub, we had no running hot water and an outside toilet. I was 19 when i got my first council house with hot water a bathroom central heating and a fitted kitchen. They had just been built so it was like a palace to me. I managed to get a coat very similar to yours Sharon, i got mine from Amazon.
Oh that was so interesting. What a great place to visit. Thanks so much. Oh Sharon you were really wanting something to eat.I’m so pleased the pie shop was shut for your sake 😂 take care
I lived in Lincoln in the 80s many a time I pushed the pram up steep hill lol .that's where my hubby is from. Living back in South Wales my birth place..really enjoyed the tour around Sharon & Martin brought some lovely memories back for me . ❤xx
I loved this video! Brit expat here, Took me back to England just seeing all the history and beautiful architecture and the museum was fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the little shops and fantastic buildings. Great footage and commentary 😁 really wanted to see those pies though but good job it was shut, temptation may have been high LOL 😂 miss a good ole pie me, USA pies just aren’t the same! Thanks for taking the time for film this, can’t have been easy whilst trying to see everything yourself but fully appreciated. Beautiful!! Felt like I was right there with ya!
Hi guys, We love Lincoln & indeed Lincolnshire we have camped in Woodhall before, lovely little town. Regarding Lincoln we've previously been to the Xmas Market via a steam hauled train excursion & on the last visit myself & a mate did the Cathedral roof tour, that is amazing walking firstly around inside near the huge stained glass window then around a gallery through a door to the outside 110 feet up. They have Peregine falcons living in the tower, hence loads of pigeons legs laying about as that is all they leave. Keep the vids coming love the variety. 😊
Awe Martin and Sharon, I just love it when you take us along with you to places like this. I love the older towns with those great little shops. I would spend the entire day going in and out of them. I'll never see these places much as I would love to, so thanks for this and love to you both. 💗💙
Thank you so much for taking us along to Lincoln. That was fascinating to watch and because I don’t get to visit places it’s really nice to be able to watch you both and learn what the different towns and cities are you two are amazing thanks ever so much. Love Amira xx❤❤

I remember going into the little chapel you are visiting now. Beautiful inside. And I have been to the big castle in Lincoln town. I love the town. 😊😊😊🎉🎉❤❤
You never fail to amuse and amaze me. It was a wonderful tour and I plan on going there myself and seeing all the places you pointed out. Thanks Martin and Sharon. You put so much effort and variety into your vlogs. Thanks a million. 🥰

We also have a beautiful Cathedral in cardiff i through ours was big in cardiff but that 1 you showed wow hugh and beautiful. Thank you a nice long rest after all that hill climbing you did sending love from cardiff. xxx
The Magna Carta pub done lovely food when the Husband and I went for a weekend, he went into the castle on his own and there is a courthouse with dummies he thought it was spooky, we then went down that hill and decided not to walk back and got a bus lol! Lovely place though, thoroughly enjoyed revisiting with you xx
Getting closer to 70000 subs 😂 ,,, loved the museum tour , if you're ever in North Yorkshire visit Eden camp , very similar if not better. An you can try wartime food in the mess hall 😋 😊
I've been in the Lincolnshire library were you both are visiting today. I found it very interesting. It was quite a few years ago since I went there..I love Lincoln. I would like to move up to Lincoln someday. To live near my cousin's. That live near the station. And in St Giles. They have always lived there.since there Dad and mum. Moved there from. Burton Trent. Just after my cousin's were born. So that's now 32 years ago. One is just a year younger than her brother'. Dan is 83. But their mum passed away 3 years ago. Dad remarried. To a lady who is just turned 50 about 2-3 months ago. Families Hay. Bless them. You both have a wonderful family and friends. ❤❤❤❤
The museum is fantastic remember going on a school trip way back and it still looks really impressive brilliant. I love standing next to the magna carter pub and looking left and right seeing the cathedral and castle in each direction stunning. The pies are beautiful. St Andrews choir was invited to sing in the cathedral again ( Martha is in the choir) this Christmas it was amazing. Great look around the historic part of beautiful Lincoln nice work really enjoyed it 👍👍

So would love to meet you all. Know matter what you out up I enjoy banter 😂 coming from a leasbin let be friends. My binge watching is over. Watched all. Thank you u make me so laugh even through my mental health. ❤
Hi happy new year what a great video really enjoyed it what a lovely place and that was a great bit of advice at the end about people having health problems very thoughtful martin well done the museum was fantastic we are going plan a trip to there when it warms up i am disabled so the information at the end was a great help
I wonder if the folk would benefit from an air fryer and pressure cooker. I remember the crate with the milk bottles we used to have in the class everyday, then someone had the job of making a hole in the cap and popping a straw in. Shamrock in many ways it stopped. Love the knockers, my mums Monday was washing in the Dolly tub , everywhere was full of steam and washing. Rinsed and then through the mangle before going on the line. Thanks for sharing very interesting.
Went to the Lincoln Christmas Market a couple of times. Before it got ridiculously busy. Hardly recognised that approach to the arch as the same place as it would have been filled with lovely stalls all lit up...And loads of people of course. Step Hill - they ain't kidding! Best thing is that there's lots of little shops to nip in to en route to the castle & cathedral. Just as well as you need a break or two! Thank Gawd there's handrails too. I bet it looked spectacular too during the Steampunk Festival (held in Newark now??). That cathedral is awesome!
Martin and Sharon love the video!! I have lived in north Lincolnshire since I was 12 ! The arch was the Norther entrance too to Roman Lincoln town it's the oldest usable Roman arch in Britain that traffic still use ! A Truck from Lindum trucks also crashed into it about 10 years ago !! Why do you only go in free entry places ?? Lincoln Cathedral needs money to maintain the building... I think that £11 for 2 people is a small amount to help keep it from being disused .. The castle again you did not go as you had to pay has an original magna carts in again money to maintain the place ! Please think about going into these places and helping to keep them open !!
Wow you were brave, poor shraons jumper, I love whitby I try and go every year, best fish and chips try the magpie hope you like whitby so much to see in and around that area enjoy😊xx
I wonder how much longer these small shops will survive as you pointed out the bottom were it was busy with the big shops is were people shop. Also l bet the rates are very high one day soon the little shops will close and there will be no money going to the council any way. I wonder why the market was stopped l know this is negative but this is the truth people don’t like the truth. Thank you for taking your time to take us with you it as been really interesting l don’t think you are penny pinchers but informer us of the cost so if we don’t have the money we can choose the cheaper option bye for now from cheerful, Charlie best wishes from Lynda ❤❤
That was great, beautiful Lincoln. Thanks fir taking us loved it ❤x
