Love Pastor Toure! This was a great interview filled with so many gems. My reading list will be full this summer. 😩 It’s so many great books out.
PT is so underrated! He has so much knowledge and I love listening to him preach. This was a great interview and I will be purchasing the book.
I heard this on the ride to work today, and this resonating with me so heavy I am buying the book. My soul hasn’t been touched from spoken words like this in awhile. Serendipitous at the most. Soul and Self are different and long for different things. I love this talk.

I was listening to this on the pod and had to come over to the video to comment! This touched my soul! Especially about the part of losing! Most of the time you hear people tell you that most stop praising God when things are. However if you been praising him the entire time things are good it’s even more devastating when things go wrong because you never took your eyes off of God like people assume! It also hurts more when God gives you all the “yes” just for you to be let down. So hearing Toure say just because you lose you are not a loser and just because you fail you are not a failure hits home. We must keep moving forward! I also resonate with the loyalty piece. I’m taking that stance. If being loyal to you caused me to be disloyal to myself it ain’t worth it!
This was much needed. I’ve been “in a place” and this helped me to “see” my “stuck” was in reality “lack of balance”.

I'm being serious. I heard him on fox soul. They introduced him as Lisa Ray's pastor. I almost didn't listen to his interview because he said he took his wife wine tasting for Mother's Day. I was being judgemental as hell. I went ahead and listened im soooo happy i did. Everything he said so much sense. Then i go to breakfast club and he is there lol. It was meant for me to get this book and hear all his wonderful words of wisdom

@@takanderson0511 yes. The way i was bought up in church any kind of liquor was off limits. Girl even wearing nail polish and lipstick. So in my mind its very weird to hear a pastor say that.

I totally believe when I feel stuck or stagnant, I'm not balanced. I'm actually going through this phase right now. I've been here for quite sometime, but thankfully I have a strong feeling that it's coming to an end very soon. I'm starting to take actions towards my purpose which I've been questioning for sometime as well. God is moving and I'm following the path he's leading me to.

This is me when he’s talking about losing and winning. I had to learn how to lose. I kept failing a test thinking that was my life. But I eventually had other things go well 🙏🏽🙏🏽
