We thought he was gonna say doom cause that’s the one word he says a lot and he tricks us by saying cataclysm.
I think that the real reason why the Doomlanders suck so much is because Kaos can't "imagine" his evil minions as any anything other than incompetent. 🤣

I have been test playing with Imaginators of 10 different Battle Classes, and here are my thoughts for each:
Brawler - Even though they have the highest amount of health, their close-range attacks, including punching enemies, aren’t exactly that great. Brawlers have to be super close to their enemies in order to inflict damage onto them. However, their Secret Technique, Wave Fist, is the only projectile attack that is proven to be quite effective. But performing Wave Fist, especially while charging, requires time to make them more devastating. The best way to avoid enemy damage while doing so is to get a far away from them as possible while charging.
Smasher - While they are strong with their ranged attacks, including swinging their clubs, hammers or axes at enemies, they aren’t exactly one of my favorite Battle Classes. First of all, Smashers’ Soul Gem ability, while can inflict damage at rapid speed, ends with them unable to move for about 2 or 3 seconds unless someone pushes the jump button to make them mobile again.
Sentinel - This is my number one favorite Battle Class ever! Sentinels, while having the third highest amount health, are very strong and fast. Their Soul Gem ability is the best, because it can wipe out incoming enemies all around Sentinels. One of their Secret Techniques can make them attack and travel faster.
Knight - This is my second most favorite Battle Class. Knights have the best stance and a wide variety of unusual-looking swords. Their Soul Gem ability, while it can increase attack power and speed, can also damage Knights. However, if they are of the Undead element, their Elemental ability, Soul Sucker, can replenish their health after killing enemies near them. Undead Knight Imaginators can balance their powers of draining and replenishing their own health meters.
Bazooker - They are literally much slower than any other Battle Classes. Their projectile attacks aren’t exactly as strong as Bowslingers. But their Soul Gem ability can do some damage overtime. If I were to select a Battle Class and Element against all Doomlanders and Super Kaos on Nightmare mode, I’d pick this and Earth.
Swashbuckler - Although seeing them with only naga tails instead of legs is not disturbing to me, they aren’t exactly like Knights, especially since Swashbucklers wield two blades instead of one. Their Soul Gem ability does deliver devastating amounts of damage, including towards larger enemies and bosses. I wanted to create Swashbuckler Imaginators. But after realizing that they cannot have legs and only tails for lower regions, I decided to go for another Battle Class that I can enjoy. Yet I do enjoy creating naga Imaginators, but not so much.
Sorcerer - This is my third most favorite Battle Class. After learning that their legs are much smaller than the chests and arms, I can make Sorcerers much shorter and cuter. Not all of my Imaginators can be bigger or taller. Their Soul Gem ability can provide protection against incoming enemies that love to disrespect the Skylanders’ personal spaces and attack them. One of their Secret Techniques can knock enemies into the air to teach them a lesson on personal space.
Quickshot - Have the best Secret Technique, Death Blossom, where they can literally wipe out enemies all-around while spinning and shooting. They have much faster projectile weapons comparing with the Bowslingers. While Quickshots and Bowslingers share equal amounts of health, Quickshots have more speed and luck than Bowslingers. That is why this is one of my most favorite Battle Classes.
Bowslinger - Their own form of projectile weaponry involving archery makes them quite more traditional than Quickshots. They also have more attack power and shield than them. However, they both share the same amount of health, especially at the same level. Regardless, this Battle Class is one of my most favorite.
Ninja - I was very disappointed that Ninjas lack chests, which makes them look like torso-free gremlins or heads with limbs sticking out of them. But then I realize there are some different heads that don’t need chests to attach to. Anyways, their primary attacks, Secret Techniques and Soul Gem ability are quite impressive. I enjoy how they can turn invisible while increasing their speed and leaving behind decoys for enemies to attack. This Battle Class, while I love ninjutsu, is one of my favorites.

I'm actually quite curious how Kaos would make the Doomlanders in the Mirror of Mystery universe. Or would Evilon make them?
I think he would make them in the Mirror of Mystery but their Names would be Goodlanders instead Doomlanders
I suppose the Doomlanders would be the real skylanders of that mirror world if they were good.
I think evilon would make them…he is the evil one after all…

@Lemongrab The story to me for anything is a nice icing to the main gameplay cake. They can be at odds with each other or be a Best Match. But if the gameplay is a bit soggy then the story can't be tasted. Get what I mean? I'm sounding like that chef from Disgaea 3😹

I've recently got back into playing Imaginators. Still fun.
And I guess Kaos still hasn't gotten out of that jar. Still, I hope we get to see a Skylanders game sometime in the future. Personally, I'd wanna see a MOBA game, something like Smite or League of Legends.

is it just me or all swashbuckler skyklanders have no legs (just naga tails)
Dark is best element for knight cuz if you combine the soul gem power with that shadow and smoke abillity you do like 800 dmg a hit with a maxed out knight thats what my knight does (same with undead and last laugh)
Plus, the combination makes it an easy batman reference.

I kept getting common imaginits from imaginite chests! and believe me it's pretty annoying.
anna and sons williamson Fair, but it’s not all bad. If you get the same part (say, the same brawler weapon) a few times, then the stats received from that part will be increased, thus giving your imaginator better stats. Nevertheless, I can understand the frustration.

Jake McManus Yes. The Quickshot Doomlander was my most hated boss on Nightmare difficulty. He kept killing my Senseis, Kaos, Crash & Cortex so I had to rely on luck.
The first 6 levels weren't too bad, except Battleship. Smasher Doomlander was hell. The Bowslinger destroyed all of my Skylanders until we came back to win the second time. Can't beat the Quickshot ever.
