Izzex is endgame finallly!!! I'm really happy about it. It's sad for Jo but i stopped caring about the show after Cristina's departure so I don't care that much about Jolex. I just always rooted for izzex. I just think they fit. They grew together, they always cared about each other even when they weren't together, and now that they both matured, a life together 10 years later, with their adorable kids is perfect. Yes Alex's ending could've been better, but also it's an happy ending for Alex, and I don't think it's too OOC. (also I only think it's fair that since shitty writing and an actor departure broke Izzex, the same reasons bring them back together lmfao). I'm also so so happy that Izzie is alive and happy and thriving. They never clarified and she left on such a sad note I was truly happy they she ended up having the happy ending she deserves.

Izzie and Alex were always going to have to end up together, Alex was in love with her forever. When he got shot he was asking for Izzie, he was lost after Izzie left.
Izzie had Alex when he was the worst and still love him anyway. Meanwhile, Jo had Alex at his best but she take it all for granted. They surely had a wonderful time together, but Alex is now exactly where he belong. And for us Izzex fans, that was the best way to end years of waiting for Alex and Izzie's second chance.
I am a hard core Alex and Izzie fan and I stopped watching the show after Izzie left but I must say that, at first, when I read how they decided to finish Alex storyline I wasn't happy or thrilled. Then it all started to grow on me and now I am pretty satisfied. Alex had a character development that mainly started because of Izzie and I am pretty sure that if Jo would've met the jerk Alex, she would've never tried to start a relationship with him. And, let's face it, they put so many Easter eggs, bringing up the name of Izzie tones of times that you have to admit the feeling was still there.
I held on to an Alex - Izzie fan MV where Shonda's statement of "Alex & Izzie are meant for each other" was inserted. After everything, somehow could not believe they were able to stick to their original storyline. Cool.

I knew that Alex's end was always with izzie. The way he left is disappointing, but I'm very happy that he got a happy ending. Izzie is the love of his life. I'm glad Alex finally got everything he wanted.

I have a question. How do males and females bond with each other? I don't see how men and women can bond (especially romantically) with each other.
Women can build incredible friendships and become very close to each other in a way men can't bond, and science shows that women can bond very well with each other. Their love was just too big & too beautiful not to bring them back together , they were eachother's bestfriends , they helped eachother through so much & Alex became a better man because of her , they changed eachother for the better & a love like that NEVER dies , even if they both went their seperate ways , the feelings were always there , Alex always spoke so nicely of her whenever she was brought up & had always a soft spot for her, i'm just so happy they ended up together cz they're so perfect for eachother ❤
The thing is before Heigl left Shonda Rhimes had said she saw Izzie and Alex as the next Merder and said they would be endgame

This is the best, most complete video of Izzex yet! I love how you incorporated both past and present moments that show not only their unquestionable and undeniable chemistry, but the fact that Alex could never get Izzie off of his mind and he referred to her as his soul mate and one true love. Also, Izzie's final episode where she vowed she had come back to get Alex back to remind certain folks that she didn't walk out on him completely. My only wish is that when Grey's ends for good.we get to see Katherine and Justin both back together as well as Sandra Oh to say goodbye to Meredith, while also flashing back to scenes that included George.

I would never forget the moment when a faith healer got admitted to SGH, the woman describe Alex's as a good man with bad mouth he has that aura. And later on that episode Alex presented Izzie to that faith healer patient with her friends and he asked the faith healer if Izzie's aura is bright yellow because of her personality but then the woman replied that Izzie for sure brightens him up. Also when Alex is trying to convince another patient to go to surgery and while he's trying to convince the patient he's telling him that maybe he wants to do it for someone. And then the patient told Alex about a girl he admires from a far, Alex then turned told the man that would he make a moment pass without saying hello to that one girl. Alex was looking at Izzie the whole time. Another is when Mer asked Alex about that love that only come once in his life when they we're laying, for him it was Izzie. Izzie for him is like Derek to Mer.

I agree. I think that he knew deep down that once he calls Izzie, there is a chance that his old feelings may come alive. Also, for someone who has not contacted her old flame for a decade and still have that level of love matching that of his love for his wife. That speak volumes.
yessss for us small izzex fansss...i know we make up about 15-20 percent and people ship jolex more but i think its more because jolex was the more recent one..i rewatched it and thus saw episodes through months and not years and all im gonna say is... izzex, always

alex saying that the trial gave him a good excuse to call izzie just says it all! Not gonna lie, april and jackson are my otp - but honestly izzy and alex are made for each other! I would have loved to actually see Izzie in Season 16. Like, Katherine Heigl, not a stand-in. I also wanted Izzie to write a letter to Jo and tell her smth like "I never met you, I knew you existed but I never met you. A part of me always wanted to know what would have happend if Alex wouldnt have skipped my DNR 10 years ago. There was one crazy fan who was after izzie and Alex, but serious jo survive much more IZZIE life with crazy mom in the some track( bigger car) doesn't cover that and I write from my own experience so everyone can live in her own fantasy but jolex are the best. He been there for her isuess/ psycho her/ drinking her/ psycho husband of her, her as homeless person. Her past as rape kid/and I'll bet as rape, her as a thief. Izsie it's * perfection but she not real not human
