In hindsight, it was very poor judgement for Uncle Bola to have joined Obasanjo's government given Pa Awolowo's sageous warnings to his associates, specifically Chiefs Ige & Afolabi. Regrettably neither of them survived their misadventure.
Having said that, nothing is hidden to God Almighty. Evil shall slay the wicked. Those who killed Uncle Bola will not end well. Amen

Bola Ige, a man of principle.
Omisore, Atiku and Obasanjo knew lots about Bola Ige’s assassination. In one of Fryo’s confessions the guy said when they finished disgracing Ige in Sijuade’s palace, they met somewhere in an hotel in Ife to celebrate the disgrace. He said Omisore approached him that that was not enough that he wanted him to kill Ige and the guy said he told him he cannot kill human being. He said Omisore replied that he shouldn’t worry, Abuja would do that. So who was the Abuja he was referring to. How can a whole security attaché to Ige go and eat at the same time? After Ige’s death Obasanjo said openly that he Ige did not know his right from his left. Obasanjo also claimed Ige was killed by drug cartels he was investigating. Till today he hasn’t named the members of the cartel.
You should mention omisore here not even Obasanjo but Ibadan politicians

Baba Akande has indirectly mentioned the man responsible for the murder of the Late Chief Bola Ige, and I wholeheartedly commend him for that courage, I thought BAT would have commissioned a high power of investigation into the death of Bola Ige, God is the judge of all.

Funso William was killed by emilokan Daramola ekiti was killed by Ayo fayose Bola Ige was Killed by repercussions of what he did in 1983 during old oyo state by omisore, kunle Alao, obasanjo, frayo and Oyinlola killed Bola lge.

It's like comparing death with sleep. The Economy under OBJ was 100 times better than what we are experiencing withTinubu. Even the clueless Buhari didn't inflict such untoward hardship on people like Tinubu has done. Tinubu remains the worst performing president (in Economy and security) in history. Our exchange rate plunged to a record low under him.

This baba was telling lies. Afenifere gave the presidential ticket to Olu Falae, Bola Ige felt slighted, this caused a rift between Ige and Afenifere. Ige joined Obj's govt after Falae lost to Obj, to spite Afenifere. Afenifere did not support Bola Ige joining Obj's govt. In fact, Abraham Adesanya called Ige a betrayer (Òdàlè tó máa bálè'lo) that would perish for joining Obj, Bola Ige replied Adesanya that he "surrounded by light......"
So sad that at his age Bisi Akande is afraid to at least describe if he is afraid to mention Ige's killers, so what is the essence of his book writing? Thrash. The most painful part was when he laughed in this video during such a sober discussion.

The details were widely reported in the mainstream media at the relevant time when all parties involved were still alive and had the opportunity to challenge them but they did not. To support my position, I encourage you to search for media interviews granted by Abraham Adesanya, Bola Ige, Olu Falae, and a certain Durojaiye between 1998 and 1999.
Bola Ige travelled abroad, in his absence Falae had been selected or elevated as the their party's presidential candidate, Bola Ige felt betrayed and disappointed, so he had no qualms joining Obj's govt when invited. I repeat this baba is not honest.
The only time Afenifere told us they agreed that their members could join "such govt" was under Abacha when Ebenezer Babatope, Lateef Jakande and Olu Onagoruwa joined the govt after Ernest Shoẹkan was pushed aside as head interim govt. I repeat Iró ni bàbá yìí ń pa. It is so disapponting that at 80+ he can't say his mind. You see the type of Elders we have in Yorùbá land? Àwon àgbà tí ò to'lé.
