The Cam Rys waggon looks superb. Only ever seen on models before, so it's a real treat. I suspect anyone trying to get goods between Exeter and Manchester might dispute your 'first rail transhipment' claim. See multiple statements to the Guage Commission and Swindon's historic take on what constituted "narrow gauge" back when the TR opened. I'm not picking a fight with the BGS !! Good to see No.6 has had the TLC it's so long needed and deserved. A gorgeous little van.
Thanks very much for the update. If the Newton & Machynlleth Railway opened on 3 January 1863, wouldn't that have allowed the Corris Railway to establish transhipment arrangements even before the TR was opened?
I never realized how freaking huge standard gauge is, wow
_Then_ remember how puny the British loading gauge is compared to most other standard gauge railways.
easy to forget the scale difference of standard gauge till you see it in the same video! and that's a small wagon

Nice to see the narrow gauge breakvan on the restoration process
Im quite intrested to see how the display turns out! Perhaps the lawnmower could be parked there with the slate wagon once its restored to.
Thanks for the excellent updates, congratulations to all those people involved. Ray.
Splendid video
1:24 can’t wait to see the wagon again (Because I’ve seen it when it was on the BHR)
This is amazing
That's so cool.
I suddenly want a RTR model that the 5 plank tbh
Thanks very much for the update.

Hello, I would like to know if there will be a restock of DVD's for "A Day on Awdry's Railway" on the Talyllyn Railway online shop if it's possible.
SLATE CAR
Is Edward Thomas still in service?
Edward Thomas is currently in for an overhaul, her boiler ticket ran out in April I'm afraid.
