Hi. Clearly, both diesels, especially the Triang one, need a damn good servicing i.e. stripping down, cleaning, greasing and oiling. No point in forcing them to run when they need the servicing. Paul.

The reason for my comment was to highlight the fact that forcing old locos to run (against their will) only causes friction to wear down the moving parts thus creating problems further down the line (no pun intended 😄.) No offence meant, just a friendly piece of advice to a fellow enthusiast as I do like seeing old Triang etc. locos running smoothly. Ciao, Paul. 👍
