@@thadz2493 the US military would never allow a CoD game that sheds too much sympathy on the "bad guys", even in a CoD game that takes place 60 years in the future What you saw in the MW 2019 campaign is the absolute closest they will get to an anti-imperialist perspective. And you can absolutely tell that Activision/IW had to fight hard for even that
I wish more people played this campaign, it’s actually really really good. And this is coming from someone who grew up with modern warfare and black ops, I know how high the bar is set for campaigns and this game definitely surpassed it. The story is really interesting and well paced (even if it’s not at all plausible lol) and the characters are really well flushed out, interesting, and memorable.
I really like the general idea that the campaign follows along, the whole Mars colony separating from Earth and declaring war against us. I also like the aesthetics of the mission too, that scene of the characters falling through the clouds of Europa and you see Jupiter in the background looked really cool. It just sucks this game was mostly forgotten over time.
It would've been a different story if CoD hadn't been so overwhelmed with the futurism and unnecessary games like Black Ops 3 and 4, those games no one really liked Why couldn't we get a CoD game that took place more about the Vietnam War, hm? We could've have more interest than just more futurism If they did just let the other times take place in CoD, then Infinite Warfare could've been at a greater interest
I was so shocked the first time I played infinite warfare that I saw both Jon Snow and Conor McGregor near the end of the first level. “Death is no disgrace.” “Mars Aeternum”
This is by far the best campaign experience that Call of Duty has produced during this generation of consoles (Ghosts through Modern Warfare). Unique, exciting, emotional and epic!
I'd LOVE a sequel where you play as Lt. Salter as she becomes a captain of a new ship and struggles with the morality of her decisions. And there could be a scene where she looks at a picture of Captain. Reyes on the wall and say, "What would you do in this situation Nick"? It could be very sick.

Honestly the only problem with the campaign I had was the fact that the antagonistic force had no actual agenda. It's like the admiral just woke up and said to the entirety of Mars "Let's go fight Earth cuz I'm bored lol" and everyone cheered.
This mission is my favorite but as a person who loves physics I have to say there are some mistakes here. First of all, Europa's temperature never rises over -160 degree Celsius (-260 degree Fahrenheit),but here we can see it's -300 which is a mistake . Secondly, Europa's gravitational acceleration is 1.315 m/s^2 when moon's is 1.62 m/s^2 that means Europa's gravity is much weaker than moon, so the soldiers can't run like that (that looks like running on earth's surface).Correct me if I'm wrong in some point.

I believe Infinity Ward shot themselves in the foot with Infinite Warfare because treated it like another Call of Duty game. They leaned so hard on asking military strategists to describe the tactics of an interplanetary war. Yet, when it came to the worldbuilding and technology, they forgot to ask scientists and engineers for help. That's why people really hated this game from the start: it took the cookie cutter feel of the past CoD games, and pretended it was futuristic. It looked fake. Plus, by ignoring the science and engineering, this game missed so much of the detail was once embedded in the earlier games of the franchise. And they missed the opportunity to explore just how unique and alien the rest of the solar system is in real life. Europa is a perfect example of this. In the mission you see clouds, freezing winds, and ice caves. The real moon has NONE of that. It's a vacuum world bathed in Jupiter's intense radiation. Jupiter has shattered it's surface into canyon sized cracks that open and close faster than a person can walk. And yet, below there's an entire ocean that has more water than all of the Earth's oceans combined. Just imagine interesting the story could have been if it took place in our real solar system.
