You are right. they have their own distinctive sound. I had my headphones washing dishes while listening to this.. had never heard it before and said to myself.. This HAS to be Citizen Queen... Thanks for doing this one, Qofy.. i just loved their version of Never Enough. I thought (Kaedi?) the bass voice sounded like a cello all the way through it.. sooo sooo moving. When they sing live on Instagram live they sound about the same as they do in the videos. They can just break into harmonies on songs random people in the chats suggests. They are amazing.

I believe a low alto is referred to as a Contralto. Had a professor in college who was a Contralto had such a rich and beautiful tone.
