Once more, all I can do is thank GUFT for allowing these boys to do their thing. Your gift to society is priceless.
Genuine tears of laughter watching this. I was seven when Interceptor came out and vividly remember being both thrilled and terrified. Apparently the lack of a second series was a result of the restructuring of the ITV franchises rather than it not being particularly popular.
What a run Chatsworth Television had in the 80s and 90s.
I lost a good friend of mine over the weekend. And this is exactly what I needed right now. Honestly I can’t show my appreciation enough for you my pals coming over for a chat.
Sorry for your lose.
@ thanks team
Delighted to see the reunion of the Three Hunk Circus, but it's weird how every one of Gerry's answers is somehow the Afterburner cabinet.
Jesus! That Interceptor bit was hilarious
"Never go on a mystery tour organised by a radio DJ" gave me a genuine belly laugh.
I loved the interceptor, think about it all the time. No idea why they never remade this masterpiece.
Why is there only an option for one thumbs-up? This is the best show on the internet!
Incidentally, I won a pair of binoculars from one of the mail-in quizzes on Funhouse. Glad to see the contestants on the actual show were winning prizes just as crap.
Final fight is one of my favorite games ever
Final Fight, one of my favourite arcade games of all time. 👊
Had a good chuckle!
Lovely to see the English lad back!
Lads. Incredible work, can’t wait until we get deep into the 90s - TEAM!
I hope they at least touch on every single series of gamesmaster over the years.
Popping off the thumbnail of course.
Quality ep, cheers to the boys. Look forward to it every month.
You certified Prince Heads probably alreayd got this got this down but I was reminded when the opening track was playing. I was STAGGERED when I found our the source of the sample to Public Enemy's Brother's Gonna Work it Out. A true Insanity Beat, the core of which is like, a 2 second clip of the middle of the guitar solo of Let's Go Crazy. Ridiculous. Who thinks that will work?
The big man is back!
Cannae believe you didn't mention that they filmed Fun House in Glasgow at where the STV studios used to be. I think it was near the Buchanan Bus Station. I know this because my school was invited to be the audience and I was there. Our school was never invited back because of our many hooligans that broke numerous set elements in the section where we were all seated. We were so bad we never got to come down close to the Fun House at the end. Probably a good decision by the crew. They made us stay in our seats. I also remember that Pat Sharp was supposed to begin the show by riding in on a dirt bike but it wouldn't start.
I had no idea it was filmed in Glasgow! I fucking loved Fun House
I remember all we got was a plastic fun house ruler each for sitting in that audience for bloody hours for them to film a 30min tv show
Just got done with episode one of Interceptor, and my goodness - this should have been as big as Treasure Hunt. How did television pass this one by?
GERRY!
Was Gerry even alive in 1989?
@@SeekNoise I'm sure they were hatching prototypes at the very least.
I like it.
I'm having myself a fieeeeeld daaaayyyyy! Interceptor is still a joke with my mates.
We need more Gerry... get it done...
If this show doesn’t win a bafta, I’m done.
Gerry 🤣
Can you make every year a ten parter so this goes on and on please
Gerry. Fun house. Ya bastards.
GERRY!
Good to see Gerry in the thumbnail. I've not watched it yet, he's just a handsome lad.
They didn't call it a laser cause IR is not a laser although they are both using light, it is, in fact, exactly what your TV remote control uses. Apparently it's good for keeping your food fresh according to recent Japanese research?!
