I have 2021 Luxury (Canadian). It's surprisingly stable around turn...easily the best handling in the segment and heated seats and steering wheel will get toasty in a few minutes. 2.0L is ideal engine..it operates like a bigger engine for in-city driving and easily put down the power for going up mountains.
You are absolutely right. I remember 10 years ago or so, if you bought a Hyundai, you bought yourself a headache. Now-a-days, they are very decent daily drivers! Of course, it would never replace my BMWs, but a 'normal' person doesn't want to deal with an older BMW.
Bought a '22 fully loaded N-Line in atlas white. Have 18k on it now. I've previously spent the past 20 years driving full size SUV's & trucks. Sure its NOT perfect, there are a few options it should have. Fun in sport mode, if that was the normal mode with an even more responsive sport mode even better! No mechanical failures, MPG's are great, some understeer and would like better cornering performance.
Own 2023 Kona 2.0 awd little bit more than 1 year. Surprised both in good and bad ways😁. Good way when I had first snow with that . Very confident on snow. Bad way when recently after 30 min in traffic got engine overheating. Donno if anyone had similar issue?
Don't ever compare this to a luxury sports vehicle. This is a commuer friendly/ family friendly crusier with excellent safety and driving vehicle. Thank you.
My fiancé has complained about driving in the snow with the FWD only, but I’ve never had any issues or felt like it needed it. If you’re coming from a FWD sedan, you’ll be fine. If you are newer to driving and live in snowy area, get the AWD.
I bought it few months before. Not a luxurious car, but just an ordinary vehicle. Engine becomes hot. Sales and services are very disappointing. Never suggest to buy this.
People bytch about a 27000 awd that’s decent equipment This is good young people and old people who need cheap car It’s nice for what it is It’s not ment to be a Cadillac I drove a sel 2019 and it was nice I thought Way better than a Nissan rogue sport
I recently rented one of these Kona‘s for the weekend very loud road noise especially when the all wheel drive is locked in interior seating was narrow and hard plastics used on door panels dashboard etc. there is nothing special about this car and I really would not buy it for myself
I just bought one and chose it over the Kicks. Love it.
Did the same today! In one day I already know I made the right decision.

Thanks for the info on the 2021! We wish we had heated steering wheel as well and maybe they have improved the handling a bit now.
Nice review! I just got the 2022 Hyundai Kona SEL(pulse red color) and love it! Hello from Parkland Florida
Nice review. Korean cars seem like they have a lot of value for the money and they seem to be much more durable than they use to be.

Nice-looking car
Thanks!

What is your take on AWD vs FWD on the Kona? AWD will cost me $500 more & decrease gas mileage by 2 mpg. Thank you!

@@SimpleCarGuy thank you! I ended up with AWD since it was only $500 more than the same FWD model.
Great concise review! It's not a BMW, but seems like a nice car for the money!
Thanks for watching!
I have a 2021 Kona is there anyway to stop the lights from flashing when you do the remote start?
There is not. At least I couldn’t find a way.

@@iannevistaa8176 MyHyundai with Bluelink
Why does light blink in the windshield
My 2019 Kona Sel doesn't have bluelink options. What trim is she driving?
It’s either she driving limited or ultimate

Seems like not only I had overheating problem.
Hallo i have a Kona. How do I get so the lift turns on when drive roundt the corner. Best regards from Denmark . Sorry my English
Our's has been on from default. I THINK you can go in the instrument cluster screen and enable it there.
My seats heat up super quick and the car also has stearing wheel heater

I have the 2020 kona and I can't remember where the stop and go button is does anyone know 🤔 🙃
This looks nothing like an European car, what is he on? 😂😂😂
Ikr😅
I have one and very lame in the back, no charge points, passenger seat too low, I won't buy again tbh.
No stick shift no buy
Fog lights are a gimmick.
Actually very helpful in dark corners.
