The impact of WGG will be felt for years to come. The podcast was something special and the community helped me get through COVID isolation by hopping in games with other community members on Discord. WGG created a space for voices to be amplified that needed to be heard and it was amazing to see other women in the community join in on episodes over years. Thanks so much Ri for helping land the plane for the final few years of flight 💜💜💜💜💜
I listened to WGG during my early days of USPS. I was new to the job and had a very hard time adjusting. Then COVID struck and I had no choice but figure it out. WGG got me through the early days.
At some point in the past year or so I fell off of regularly listening to WGG, but I’m still sad it’s ending. All of you had and still have unique voices in the game industry, and I know you all will still be going in the future! Was lucky enough to meet Andrea, Britt and Steimer in 2018 and know many incredible people in their community! Sad I won’t be at Pax for the last meetup but thanks for a wonderful podcast and I know you all will keep doing great things! ❤
