His manner of speaking... A quiet confidence. Brimming w intelligence. Virtually every sentence a gem - loaded w Gospel Truths and important Life-Lessons. I've watched this talk several times; each time trying to write-down, expound-upon, and capture nuggets of information - and can never keep up w the waterfall of knowledge falling from his lips. Truly uplifting.

I have always love his style of speeches, he's unique in every way. President Gordon B. Hinchley once said about him, "Each talk was a masterpiece, each book he wrote was a work of art, I think we shall not see one like him again".

What a speaker! What meaningful words for us all to remember. We judge ourselves too harshly.

This is one of the greatest talks to listen to when you are in the depths of despair.

This great man just dropped so many truths in such a short 11-minute time span.

David A Bednar poetically said something similar in his first talk as an Apostle.

I have never listened to Elder Maxwell and not been inspired.

Great talk. Was this a early 1980s GC?
