the first 3 notes of this song always give me goosebumps.... by the end of the song I am reduced to a crying mess. It's been more than 20 years and I am still not over it.

I knew what I was listening to from the first three notes. Memorable and stands out. It's a quality melody.

1:12 I started feeling it, and seeing that scene again. Actually, if you look at Aerith's theme, it's is totally her life - starts off gentle, then becomes something greater and greater until the epic crescendo, then ends and fades away poignantly.
Same here.. but the remake is great and what's coming in the next part will not let us feel regret again!

D'you know why this is the best cover of this song? It's not overdone... in the same tempo from start to finish. It's just a very clean, satisfying-to-hear of a cover. I always go back to this when i miss Aerith's theme. This, Tifa's and Julia's theme are my favorites. Fantastic job Ru...

I had played this at my wedding..(had it played I should say). Then, after my marriage ended, we still ended up best friends. I felt sort of like Cloud, torn between two women. I found my dream lover years later, and now this song still reminds me of that moment...and the greatest moment of my youth, too. AERITH is beautiful. She taught me love in so many ways for a planet in which I felt lost on. And your piano playing reminds me of that love. Keep doing more!!

I've played this theme years ago as well. Just because I loved it that much. I had it as alarm ton to wake up on back these days. And from time to time I still miss this theme after all these years and listen to it in RUclips. Always something different. But I have NEVER listened to something beautyful like you have played it. Gorgeous. I supscribes you imideatly. This is more then perfect. The feelings you have put in It.the way you play. The way you move your fingers and hands. Just wow.

After playing and watching many gameplaysof FF7 Remake, I now hear it as Aerith's sorrowful reflection of the severe loss Cloud felt for Aerith after she died in the past timeline turning into a small, fluttering ray of hope now that Aerith is aware that she has died in the past timeline and so is becoming aware of Sephiroth's games and is finding support in her friends, especially in Cloud, who's determined to "never ever let [her] go" and is coming for her in the romantic way.

Listen to Arkton's version it is fantastic and he also has Tifa's theme which is the best rendition of that song I have heard. Homegirl here is pretty good but Arkton is magnificent.

Final Fantasy VII will forever be my favorite game. Everyone who played the game gets emotional with this song.
Wow.... The melody of the piano can just cut right through you into the deepest parts of emotion. No words are needed. Without ever knowing anything, the themes of tragedy, innocence and loss are perfectly conveyed.
I have always mix emotions while listening on her theme. And also I am excited for the REMAKE. I love listening to it. 😊❤

One of the best games of all time. Final Fantasy for PS was such a classic for kids, with different CD, polygons, 3-D, with an amazing story and musical score. Final Fantasy, as it should be.
