Thanks! I do not believe there is unless you do some mod to it. My assumption is that Morley sees folks using the wah with and without distortion. and by itself the distortion is quite good.
Paul Ewing of STOMP BOX STEALS Ummmm...well....I uh...damn....if I can even get close to sounding like Phil X I’m pleased as punch! Thanks for watching Paul. Glad you enjoyed it
Hey. I realize it’s been a few years and I’m not sure if anybody has asked yet, but aside from that pedal sounding super sick-rad, is the distortion side a tube screamer, by chance? Asking for myself. I don’t really have any friends…
Hey man! No worries about questions on old videos, happens all the time. I do mention it several times in the video, since the color is very screamer-ish, the distortion is NOT a TS style pedal.
Pedal looks really cool. And it sounds great - the playing equally so! (Fab Les Paul, BTW) I had one of the original Morley was-wah pedals back in the 70's. It had fuzz too and sounded amazing. Now I 'm inspired to pick up another...
I would definitely love to hear a comparison between this, and the Lynch wah. Those are the two I'm considering for my next wah, so that would help out. Great demo! I appreciate you really show cased the distortion circuit, different pickups, different settings, etc.
Glad you dig it Matthew! Might have to make the side-by-side happen. I’m hoping me and Morley will be doing more together this year. Hope you’re staying well. 👍
Hello man, great video, and i happen to wonder if you have a bass guitar and could you do a demo of this wah with bass for cliff burton fans, what the pedal on its own can do, on clean amp...cos honestly it seems more promising than the actual power fuzz wah(2020 or signature model its pretty much the same)
Hey man. Thanks for checking out the video 👍 I do have a bass but I don’t see myself having the time to make a dedicated bass video for this. My schedule at the moment is just too full.
@@SeanPierceJohnson i understand, if you do happen to at least have enough time for a simple mobile phone camera quick test of that pedal through bass or even a sound demo, you could send it over to me via facebook(my name is same as here) basically i want to hear if that pedal alone can get you ‘bells ktulu anesthesia’ kind of sound...aka is the wah strong enough to give you that ‘scream’ without aditional pedals...in any case thanks for a response
I was just about sold on this. A distortion in a wah, looks and sounds amazing. But than I just learned that it cocks back automatically...... that’s almost a deal breaker.
I can understand that, especially as a guy who has quite big feet. But I like the new size quite a lot! Very pedalboard friendly and much more comfortable than the mini Dunlop.
What's the Tele style axe?
This pedal Stupid deal today for $99
Looks like a Jennings Navigator
Great demo and because of it, I just bought one!! Love the videos 😎🤘
Hope you enjoy it!
@@SeanPierceJohnson it goes well with my Orange 🍊 OR15. Keep up the great work!!
Awesome review awesome playing 🤟
thank you! please join me again soon
10:36 legendary Zakk Wylde sound I've been looking for! Time to buy this! Haha
A brilliant informative vid. Just what I was looking for. Great work - many thanks.
Thanks a bunch!
Nice demo as always my friend!!
Cool video. Can you have it so the distortion circuit is on only when the wah is engaged ?
Thanks! I do not believe there is unless you do some mod to it.

I heard you playing from the other room and I thought you were Phil X lol. The damn wah looks so cool1 It still sounds VERY Morley! Cool!

@@SeanPierceJohnson thanks man! All is good in my neck of the woods. Hope the same for you. Looming forward to more demos!
Great job. Thanks man

Terry's GG&G it really does! Thanks for watching Terry

I like the pedal and the playing. I've got the Bad Horsie, but if I didn't, the Distortion wah would be a good next pedal.
thanks! i remember the dudes at Morley did mention the sweep of the Distortion Wah is quite similar to the Bad Horsie
I'm thinking about getting the new "Bad Horsie", I've using the original for a long time, and I have always really liked it :0)
Mickey Settlemire me too Mickey. The Bad Horsie was the first Morley I heard. Most signature Vai stuff holds a place in my heart.

well, you could potentially remove the mechanism that makes it auto-return but i wouldn't recommend it.
Or get the wah lock version,it allows you to choose where to leave it half cocked, 1/4 etc
Can you use with 🅱️ass🤔😥
Good question. I haven’t tried it but I don’t think it would sound bad
i miss the big peddles
