Your Right same brother, same Family, same food, tradition and linguistics, As Southwest cameroon use to be part of Nigeria present day cross river and akwa Ibom. When Southwest cameroon join french cameroon it split family of ethnic groups Ibibio, Efik, Ejagham, Igbos between Nigeria and Cameroon.
Now it's understandable why Anglophone cameroonian say they are west African 🌍 Instead of Central Africans
