WHAT DA FK IS ORIGINAL IN HIP-HOP? Hip-hop was created out of recycling old materials to make something new. It's like if you take an old bed spread and you cut it up to make a dress or a pair of pants. They took the alphabet and styled the letters and added arts work to make Graffiti art. They took clothes by Italian and European designers and combined them to make the fashion. They took Salsa and Mambo moves, fused them with Funk dances to make Rock Dance and Burning. They took Burning and mixed it with gymnastics to make Braking. They took old Rock, Funk and Disco songs and extended sections to make the music....... That's Hip-hop. Young adults and kids created this shit in the streets and it was everybody together, not just one group. Them's the facts!
