Since this Covid thing started I shave every day to make sure my facemask fits properly. I honestly haven't changed what I use or the setting on my Rockwell 6S which is plate five. I do the normal three pass with a Feather blade. It gives me something to look forward to do that I like out of the whole ground hogs day movie feeling days. Have an awesome week!
Hi Paul. Real nice shave. However since theres still a few hours left in your day, the least you can do is get in another shave before bedtime. I don`t think thats to much to ask. I`ll be waiting. Cheers bud.😁
I need to shave daily and I use a Rockwell 6c on plate 4.If I use anything milder I find myself going over and over and I do a 3 pass shave.I often use Parmolive and can easily get over 100 shaves from a tube less than 2p per shave, Astra blades also 2p a shave, Boots Tee tree and Witch hazel hazel or dr organic Rose otter, Forest fresh aftershave and finally Nivea post shave balm. So my daily shave costs approximately 10p and makes a pleasurable shave. Thanks again to you and Mrs H keep well.
Hi Paul- Great “daily shave”; thank you! Nice set of products for a daily set-up. I shave daily (40 years, now) and use a cream (Proraso white or similar) for a fast bowl lather with a synthetic brush (22-24mm), Rockwell 6S (plates 5 and 2), Gillette Nacet blade, one pass w/the grain and a light across the grain pass, witch hazel, Barbedeaux after shave splash, and a light balm (Zingari unscented). Lovely spring flowers from Mrs H; thank you! Take good care and enjoy the rest of the week. See you on Sunday for the weekend shave. Best regards, as always!
Great idea "Daily Shave". When I worked I generally shaved every two days, and when in the military I shaved every work day. Certainly rougher on the face. I was surprised you said "No Way Merkur Futur". I find one to be almost useless. All the best sir

Thanks, Paul! I've been waiting for this shave. I don't shave every day but it’s good to know that my 1966 Slim Adjustable will handle the job with super slick soap and a good moisturizer.
My SOTD (for tomorrow): Karve Christopher Bradley Stainless Steel Plate D and in that will be a second use Gillette Platinum. Wickham Parma Violet soap and matching post shave balm. Yaqi Mysterious Space 26 mm synthetic tuxedo brush. Nice shave Paul, hope you and Mrs H are keeping well.
I shave everyday but Sunday. I typically run between 3 & 4 on my Gillette Adjustable. My shave consists of a 2 pass plus a clean up. I have struggled with aggressive razors.
Nice daily shave Paul💈💈 Different for you to video this. Wow, those flowers just explode with color, thanks Mrs H😊 SOTD! PAA Cube, Panna Creama Nuavia Verde soap, EJ DE89/Personna Red, alum, Thayer's witch hazel, German Pitralon splash, AV 5 in 1 balm and Florida Water cologne to finish...fantastic😁 Hope you get no irritation from shaving twice in such a short time🤔 A good sting in the end...👌 Enjoy!
Good morning (from where I am)! I shave daily but my razor is generally on a higher setting (3 or 5). My SOTD has been: Razor -- Super-84 (1970), Blade -- Feather, Brush -- PAA Peregrino (fantastic brush!), Soap -- PAA Scentless (CK-6), AS/Cologne -- PAA Atomic Age Bay Rum. That's pretty much my daily set up. While I change out the blade every Sunday (unless the blade tells me sooner), and I *might* use a different splash (while my wife likes AABR, she prefers Stirling Soap's Stirling Gentleman and Arkadia), the rest of the setup is pretty much my go-to, daily driver. IMO, PAA's soaps in the CK-6 formula just can't be beat; hands down the slickest soap I've used. Have a good rest of your week, Paul and Mrs H!
Finding I'm getting my best and most relaxing shaves during the lock-down, simply because it's become the 'day out treat'. My daily razor is the Rockwell 6s (no.3 plate). The Gillette 7 o'clock Yellow is superb in it. By the way ; that big red brush (top shelf): Would like to see that get a run-out👍
Ohhh, Mrs H is definitely back in business. Beautiful flower display! You're a good sport for subjecting your skin to a 2nd shave just for our entertainment :) And no irritation! Hi Paul. We loved this video. We thought you were going to cut yourself and couldn't believe it when you did 'pick-up' time. We were really glad when you came out unscathed. Lovely flowers, Mrs H.

You're right, Sir Paul, we shall miss the silence, those empty roads, once the beast has been taimed. It shall take lgr than we might think, so lets enjoy as ong as such rules exist. The bright light in yr room, the colourful flower assortment of yr wife, spring has come. Here in Singapore they call it a 'partial lock down', which means most shops open, we can go outside, masked with distance. B u t the period has just been extended to June 1st. My club is closed, public swimming pools closed as well. I'm used to thrice weekly 3-500m freestyle, to keep my 70yr bones elastic. So, a DE 89 would be a good razor for the daily shaver?
Yes, it's a good beginners razor or daily shaver, once you get the right blade too...very good razor and price.

Am f, most likely. orced to lazyness, which I compensate with beer, food, consequently add on weight. Onon, Paul, write to y one other time. Susan n Achim, Singapore+
