The real reason many in NCC are still sick or getting sick or suddenly died in NCC cos of v. 30. It seems there are serious concerns about Joseph Prince's teachings. Does anyone know if the National Council of Churches of Singapore (NCCS) or the Alliance of Pentecostal & Charismatic Churches Singapore (APCCS) have made any public comments/actions regarding these concerns?
Both are sleeping partners and are not willing to stick their necks out to make any real difference for God and His kingdom. Instead of confronting and rebuking JP, both welcome him as brother. All these give the greater Body of Christ the misconception that JP, NCC and JP Int'l ministry are doing God's work and are of the light. How can anyone endorse JP that treats the Lord’s Supper so flippantly? Partaking the Lord’s Supper is to declare the Lord’s death till He comes again for the Church. But JP and you don't be surprised that many churches take the Holy Communion as part of their desire for physical healing. This is the sad state of Singapore churches and church leaders in Singapore. They can have many groups to unite churches but none dares to speak up for God's truth.

Call for your pastor/elder to pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of Jesus and the prayer of faith shall save the sick (James 5:14-16) The other biblical way is they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover. Nor confess like a mantra that he is the righteousness of God to be delivered from addictions. His teachings are meant to abdicate the pastor's responsibility to pray for his sick sheep personally. Because it will then prove or disprove whether he has the healing anionting that he claims to possess. Some will call it a wayang. If you have gift of knowledge and call out specific healing to thousands of attendees, there should be testimonials because word of knowledge and gift of healings operate together as twins by the Holy Spirit. Sadly some backaches and body pain reported and no testimonials of miracles of healing of terminal diseases.
Sickness is part of suffering. Suffering is part of God chastening which is for all Christians. God chasten and mold all of us a Father who loves His children…. in order that we may achieve the holiness that He has designed for all of us… so sad that modern day Christians avoid suffering and chastisement.
