They are entrtaining and actually informative in what you might get if you decide to go with a bootleg, or if you think that you're getting an awesome deal and you are unaware that you are actually buying a knock off.

When I found this and bought it offline I was so exited. I told all my friends I was getting it, I watched the mailbox every day and then when he came in, he instantly fell apart. I was MAD. But now I got the marvel legends one and I’m happy with it.

Your channel is one of the funniest and honest review channels on RUclips. Also people don’t realize or care how expensive the legit import figures are. There are some who are willing to pay scalper prices and somehow think that paying $100-$200 for a $40 makes them somehow superior to other collectors. And now the action figure collectables market bubble has already burst. So that $100 figure is now back to selling for less than half.

I've had some garbage knock offs,...sh figuarts Shenron,....but the knock off neca mirage turtles I got a month or so back are straight fire....$60 for all four shipped and comparing it to my authentic neca turtle they're pretty damn close. Certainly close enough for the price difference so to all those haters out there need to shut it keep up the work great review

Sometimes i feel like "bootlegs" are just ones that didn't pass inspection so they're tossed aaand some employees dumpster dive to make some side profit 🤷♂️
A really valid point. There some figures like that, like, some Neca and Mattel (especially DCUC) figures.
Marvel Select Iron Man Mk43 comes to mind as a perfect example. That figure had no offhcial release at all. The detail & quality was top notch plus the added accessories were a bunch & quite detailed as well, most especially the extra Tony Stark heads.
But a lot of these bootlegs are much shorter than the genuine ones
I think you may be on to something. I have a few bootlegs and they're pretty much 80-90% identical.
Thats Overrun ( didnt pass the inspection or quality checking with minor issues ) , bootleg is 100% fake , like the figure with light in the chest

If anyone is buying bootlegs they could be buying the real thing. Instead of buying 3 poor quality under sized KO's you can buy a high quality original to display.

Limited Edition bootleg may be useful for customs, diorama displays, etc....if they are very cheap. But many of these Chinese bootleg sell for 50 dollars plus. Way too much money for a fake figure, even if it’s cheaper than the real thing.
@@HK-47Resurrected you can get bootlegs for as low as $10. The original is like $100. Tgeres a reason people watch these videos to see if the bootlegs are half decent, that way they could just spend the $10 or $20 on a decent fake instead of $100 on a real one that serves the same purpose. If you have a problem with that, then you dont have to be here. No one is forcing you to be here.
Just understand that not everyone has a $100 budget for 1 toy.

The paint defects ._. But if you paint over it and not make it look "cheap (as in bootleg copy)" this Thanos bootleg would put a smile on my face! (If painted..)

I’d recommend a Star Wars Play Kai Arts Bootleg. Regular ones are $200+. Maybe Darth Vader. They seem to have those for sale everywhere. I’d be very intrigued by a video with that.

This is an amazing figure for a KO ! The one I reviewed had no paint defects so it is all just luck . As you say size helps I just reviewed the ko rocket racoon an it the worst ever so small an the groot is ......wow bad hes wrong in every way.

Hey man.. just saw the video. I think its great that you do what you do. You're buying these figures and telling people what to expect. Not like you're saying this is a legit figure. You're segment is also called "This is Not" for a reason. Honestly i think you need to keep doing what you're doing despite haters. All the best woth the channel :)
I think collectors need to invest their money into real figures so these company's can continue to design and produce them.

Is simple, to love toys is almost a crime with some prices, is not a rule but most of the time the price coincides with quality, I love Ally express, BUT IM PRETTY AWARE WHAT IM BUYING. So they just should show you, WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET. As simple as that, and Kudos for your this channel.
