Hey, I haven't even started watching your first video but I've been reading the wonderful comments. My unsolicited advice based on personal experience is you might consider volunteering a food bank. Volunteering opens doors for employment potentially and when you volunteer there's always extras I.e food extras! I was able to secure two temporary term positions with them and it provided me with excellent references for future employment. I was a single mom and I am a single mom again. I'm been welfare/pwd for years and I know what it's like to have a tight budget. And now I'll get to watching your video! Sending you perseverance!

I just saw your video thanks to the RUclips algorithm. I feel for you man. Although I’m a senior citizen, I’m on Social Security, and can barely afford to buy food after paying for my prescriptions every month. Take good care of yourself while you’re young so when you get older, your body will not need so much help. No one told me this when I was young, so I must give you those words of wisdom. Right now I live in a trailer and need a van that I can stand up in. I’m looking at a Ram Promaster right now and pray to the Lord God to help me get it. Take care. I’m going to subscribe to keep track of you. According to my late father, You can’t beat a good Dodge down any day. Keep the maintenance up and your van will treat you right.

Try to get some peanut butter to add to your ramen for added protein that is cheap. Unless your van gets good mpg I would stay away from doing Doordash. Check with temp agencies near you to see if there are any that pay you the same day you work. I pray you aren't in an area where the storm is hitting. Looking forward to seeing more of your content. Running your van for heat is inefficient; Consider a microclimate within the van to contain produced warmth.
Dumping hot water into a bottle VS the ground can keep your sleeping bag, coat warm.
A lid on your pot and a windscreen conserves cooking fuel.

Stop running your engine for cab heat. Buy a Chinese diesel heater; a little over $100.00 and you can DIY install it. You will be able to maintain comfortable warmth 24/7 in your van for approximately $3/day. Also saves wear and tear on your van engine. The diesel heater only uses a small amount of battery current. Eventually you can add a LiFePo battery and a solar panel to your setup. I'll subscribe to view your channel. Good luck to you on your journey.

My kids when they were in university went dumpster diving one night. They came back with 6-7 baguettes baked that day. Cauliflower, carrots, all
Kinds of bakery goods yoghurt and I can’t remember what all any more. But my counter top was FULL. All fresh food. Nothing mouldy ir even stale. Far from it being embarrassing to be the diver, the store should be made to feel
Embarrassed to have thrown the stuff out. It should be illegal

You can always get eggs or sausages to put in those pack soups bro, for protein. They good, but they not nutricious, so even though you eat a pack or two, you won't have any energy to work if you find one. Protein helps bulk up and also helps to fend off the cold. Even peanut butter is a good source of protein. Great for hard times. Protein, great for building muscles, fending off the cold and also a great form of getting iron to build blood cells .

I live out of a 2005 ford e350 econoline van. My heat source is an Olympian Wav3 propane heater. It can be hung on the wall or install legs for it to sit on the floor. It's a great little heater that can run on low safely all night. And grocery stores mark down close date items early in the morning so you can get stuff half price or cheaper.

Looking for the video and budget meals, but want to share my favorite budget meal first.
i like the Michelina's alfredo chicken and broccoli for a dollar.
The way to make this better is to add garlic, cheese, butter, and a dollar packet of chicken.
if I really want to make it filling, I add extra broccoli also.
It's not exactly a dollar, but feels like a feast for a king.
