Just so people are aware, this is definitely official as CyberKnight mentioned. This card game is Chinese and exists separately from the official Chinese release of the Digimon Card Game. This card game reuses art from various previous Digimon card games, like Super Digica Taisen and Battle Spirits as well iirc. Pretty neat stuff.
You didn't notice poor Pero-chan (Toei Animation's mascot) on the box there too to confirm its authenticity. :D (Though some have duplicated the process but there would be tell-tell signs that it would be faked, such as printing quality etc.) But yeah, it would make sense for Bandai to try out a Digimon arcade card game (best to call it that from now on I'd say). I'm also relieved that it's part of an arcade game as Bandai changing the format of the current card game now would just be a huge disaster. :)
Omegamon is or could easily be a reference to being the Alpha and the Omega(God). They probably changed it because it could be seen as offensive to the religious American audience. Seeing how Alphamon and Omegamon are the leaders of the Royal Knights it makes sense.
Hi there cyberknight, love your content man, I just want to point out that these are unfortunately not real cards. They say that they are licensed by bandai but the company is simply stealing their logo. These are sold on aliexpress for around 20-30 bucks per box. The Japanese game you are mixing up with this box is called DCD Digimon. Furthermore, the language on the box and the cards is not japanese but chinese. As far as I am concerned, the Japanese arcade game does not have booster boxes, you get the cards from the machine.
they are chinese but that's not a problem since i looove chinese arts on digimon cards i have seen other chinese sets and they are soo epic :D to bad no wargreymon or something he is my favorit heheh
It is. It has the corporate logos and Toei's Pero trademark on the box, and it looks legit. Plus, it makes sense that this would go with a Japanese arcade card game in the style of Dragonball Heroes.
@@Hydra_Mann Somebody else in the comments claimed that the text is in Chinese. if so, then it's possible that Bandai is using China as a test market for this game, before introducing it to Japan perhaps? But if not, then it should already have gotten a Japanese release.

This might be official, but it's definitely a Chinese product. The Text is in Chinese and the cards don't look like any of the Japanese arcade ones.
Cool stuff
Is this a legit product? I can't find anything on it other than the Amazon listing. Cards look awesome and would definitely order!
