Contrary to what you may think about black people knowledge, the reason most black people vote for the democratic party is because most of us know how destructive and hateful the republicans and their policies have been towards the black community for over 5 decades and counting. We lived through and heard their double talk, denigration, hate and lies they had\have regarding the black community. We also know that, although far from perfect, because of democrats and in spite of republicans the majority of the black community are far better off today than living under a Jim Crow 2.0 society. Jumping from the proverbial frying pan into the fire is not the answer.
And Donald trump gave tax breaks to billionaires at the expense of African Americans. Donald trump started a trade war that has cause the price of goods and services to go up for AA and Donald Trump gave rise to Brics. Donald Trump tries to cut Social Security for African Americans. Opting for the couch in 2024 needs to set the stage for building black autonomous movements that are horizontal in their structure and detached from electoralism. The result from these movements needs to be ASUs/ASFs (anarcho-syndaclist unions/ anarcho-syndaclist federations) as well as ABN (autonomous base nuclei). Simply put we must use these as tools so that we are no longer giving legitimacy to the same settler colonial authority that is used to harm us as black people which makes the demand for the black vote sadistic on the part of these politicians.
