Isn’t it a bit odd that Byleth is Mercedes’ homeroom teacher for the Blue Lions and she’s a year older than him/her while he/she is 21. Even though a lot of people find this couple problematic with the whole student and teacher relationship, at least Byleth is marrying a woman a year older than him/her.
