    Omg street food is the best!! Reminds me when I visit mexico. Good for you for submerging yourself in the culture and trying different food, a lot of people wont do this. Definitely made me hungry lol Thanks for sharing.

    Oh man watching this made us so hungry! I always heard the food in Sichuan province was really spicy but these actually didn't look too spicy.The smoked duck looked especially delicious! We will probably visit China next year and one of the main reason we are going there is for the food :) It was awesome to see both of your reactions to this awesome food and it was super cool for you to be able to hang out with Austin. He really seemed to know all of these dishes very well.

      He sure does know his dishes, I was surprised with it! These dishes were actually okay, not too spicy. I remember my first time in Sichuan though and every meal I burnt my mouth, lol.

    Everything looks delicious!!! It's always nice when you have personal recommendations and someone to personally show you around. Love that it's open air as well!

    Looks like that Sichuan food culture is quite different from Beijing ones. In Beijing there is no much outdoor restaurants ... probably because the colder temperature and dry weather.

      That's what I tought! Lots of difference in the food culture. I know Beijing used to have night markets and such, but many of them have been closed over the years. Really miss them though.

      Haha, no, he's not doing food tours (as far as I know). Didn't know they do food tours, it's a great way to expand their business though.

    Basically every province in China is like a Country in Europe. So you can imagine the difference of food in China

    • @GoYvon
      @GoYvon  4 года назад

      That's true! The variety of food in China is unbelievable, you wouldn't have to eat the same dish twice in a year if you didn't want to.
