Might have to go try out this system. Looking at buying the iwave 300 with this system for bulk TIG welding on piping for oil and gas clients. Is the wire feeder simply feeding a standard MIG wire or something more unique?
@@Thefabforums in saying that. You can't put a MiG hand piece/torch on instead? Or you would still need the multiprocess pro setup with additional wire feeder?
So.... why wouldn't you just mig it? The whole point of tig is to be precise and a by product of that is a reduced travel speed. Obviously this is just another "tool", but I really don't see the benefits of this over a dialed in mig weld with a competent set of hands and eyes.
Some materials/components can't big MIG welded. I can see massive benefits at my work as we deal with oil and gas companies that 100% need components TIG welded.
Was fun hangin with you, we'll see you at FabTech!
The amount of blurry video was amazing ❗️
So it’s a tip tig
That is just ridiculously cool.
They have some awesome stuff 👏

Its basically a MIG feeder with a little twist. It can sense when a closed loop connection is made and monitors the resistance.

Dang I would love to work with you guys. I’m a fabricator at Caterpillar in Winston Salem Nc and do some HotRod stuff at home.
Do they still sell this?
Yeah. It just came out last year
Too cool 👍👍
