Camila left at the end of 2016 because she wanted to be able to explore her own artistry, which is obviously hard to do with 4 other people (she had already done solo projects at this point with MGK and Shawn Mendes). There was a clear disconnect between Camila and the other four members just before her departure too, they seemed quite distant from her and she just didn't seem happy, her massive personality deteriorated and she barely spoke in interviews.
The other four continued on as Fifth Harmony and released another album together before going on a 'hiatus' in 2018. I think they all wanted to go and explore their own craft too and after Camila left they never found the same level of success again and also continued to suffer under horrible management. I don't think the whole mess that came after Camila left helped either - from the Fifth Harmony account announcing Camila's departure which she didn't know they were doing and the very passive aggressive back and forth between the group's management and Camila.

I feel like Normani, Dinah and Lauren had the most natural chemistry here. They listenend intently to each other, engaged with each other and seemed more comfortable throughout the interview. Perhaps it was the seating arrangements but Ally and Camila seemed less engaged with the group and more concerned with Zach and giving off a good impression.
Just my own two cents but i think Camila was the least engaged in the convo, preferring to interject at random times rather than in a consistent manner like Lauren or Normani. Her focus on the sandwich could be because she was just hungry but to me personally it just seemed like she didn't really want to be there, I could be wrong though.
Overall, it's clear that they aren't the most harmonious group, as evident by the fact that they tend to talk over each other a lot and don't seem to have a truly in sync dynamic but there seems to be some form of friendship. Sorry for the ramble lol i just find things like this interesting :)
The thing is with 5H, they never really sat close together, you know? They would always sit like that, like they were fine with eachother but it wasn't as real/close.
And then, you look at Little Mix, always sitting close together and literally doesn't matter when they were 4 or now when they're 3. Like, the dynamics in these 2 groups are just different.
Even when Jesy was still in the group and became more distant from 2019 on with Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade, it still felt close and real. And then you have 5H, I do think they're friends, but they most certainly had some fights here and there.
You said that it looked like Dinah, Lauren and Normani had the most natural chemistry. The thing is, in the beginning, Lauren and Camilla seemed pretty close, always like being together, but over time, that just faded.
I think, when you look at LM and 5H, both groups were put together on the X Factor, but it just clicked for LM. It was never forced, they became sisters real quick.
For 5H, not really, because if I'm honest, the 5H girls just kinda look better solo, especially Normani and Camilla, they thrive, the 5 of them thrive as soloists.
I think normani being so well with communication bc she had a background in doing pageants so that communication skill she developed then definitely helps her career now.
Lauren and Normani have proven to be such gems. I love them so much to this day. 🥺💕
I always noticed whenever Camila wasn't the center of attention she would just sit there looking bored
It’s funny to watch this as an adult in corporate America because as a team when we go into meetings or interviews we go in with a game plan as far as who will lead or who will address what - just to avoid the look of muddy, disconnection you see here. I think while 5H were working so hard as young girls, little was done to help them to gel and develop team-building skills. To move as a team is very hard - everyone cannot be everywhere, you have to assign roles. IMO on stage and in interviews, 5H never really developed a flow or a chemistry, it just went as well as their moods felt that day.

i’ve watched your Little Mix analysis cuz I’m a big big mixer, and you can see the difference between both groups, even when Jesy started to distance herself from the girls in 2019. Little Mix truly like they engage with each other and like each other’s company, they rely so much at each other and in some interviews u can see that they get so engaged in a conversation with each other that they forget they’re in a interview, they truly are best friends even with this hiatus. But Fifth Harmony never looked like that to me, it never felt natural? at least in the beginning it seemed genuine but after some time they looked so robotic when they interacted it seemed like they were kinda being forced to otherwise they wouldn’t do it, they’re all very talented individually but as in a group dynamic genuine friendship is necessary in order for it to work out, they didn’t seem like a good honest group
And then Jesy left Little Mix and the fallout was 10x messier than Fifth Harmony’s. I love Little Mix but I’m really going to need other Mixers to stop peddling this false “LM love each other and 5H hate each other” narrative. Anyone who actually paid attention to Fifth Harmony knows they were all very close the first 3 years of the group and even after problems began happening there were still many times the interactions between Camila and the other 4 girls were genuine and affectionate since their issues were mostly related to their professional/record label situation and not personal which all 5 of them have confirmed multiple times.
Also, Mixers love to pretend the division in 5H was between all of them when it only happened between Camila and the other 4 just like with Jesy and the other 3. Dinah, Lauren, Normani, and Ally remained close after Camila left, after the hiatus, and Camila, Lauren, and Dinah have confirmed they’ve all settled what happened in the past and are friends again. This harping on “friendship” thing that Mixers do is such a gross mischaracterization of 5H has no real basis other than to prop LM and tear 5H down. Both groups are amazing and had beautiful moments professionally and personally. Grow up.

Camila started the shade when she had that birthday party Taylor threw for her and the others weren’t invited. It was downhill from there. After that in every interview all of a sudden Taylor was her biggest inspiration when that wasn’t the case before.

She always mentioned Taylor Swift , she would even post about going to her concert before she was in fifth harmony , I think that birthday part was something Taylor Swift threw as a suprise
but the girls always excluded Camila too we don't know their dynamics to judge
@@Vengurl09 before she became friends with taylor all 5 girls literally did everything together. ive followed them since xfactor and even voted for their first vma. I was obsessed lol. they always celebrated bdays together she wasnt excluded till she started being shady. she started distancing herself.
It was actually before... Shit went down when they all went to Hawaii together, early 2015, i can't remember what happened but after that, Camila and Dinah's friendship was definitely different as with normani...
And there was no tension between them they did have a really strong bond but it was just their management and Simon who ruined it for them all, Camila was like the Perrie of Fifth Harmony and Dinah was her Jade
I would be interested in seeing your reaction to 'Camren', which is the ship between Camila and Lauren. Lots of fans believed (some insane people still do) they were together (or severely crushing on each other) even though they denied it, and they both expressed how uncomfortable it made them

TY for this one Max, am usually here for BTS and Mamamoo, but I do watch your other videos as well. I watched different interviews of these girls, and I have to say; I noticed the lack of chemistry (no hate just being honest), and most of the time Camilla seems to be left out actually. I think my point was confirmed with your analysis, and if you saw more you'd get that feeling too (watching them talk over each other makes me uncomfortable somehow, if you know what I mean?)

I agree. Camila try’s to engage but everyone time she does she is interrupted or ignored. It’s clear she’s taking a back seat in this video since it seems her input isn’t wanted… just my observation!
@@r_ramir3z Doesn't exactly help that Camilla was eating a sandwich during all of it. lol I do know how it feels to be deprived of eating while "at work," but the moment I do eat, that is my priority. If she had focused only on that, she could've gotten done quicker. (Or leave half the sandwich for later - that way you satisfy your empty stomach for the time being.)
All that said… it is possible to eat AND listen actively. Regardless of eating speed.

I really miss them as a group ❤ (they have a lot of good songs) but as time goes on you can see they were not that "in synch" like he said, So yeah.. I personally think they were letting Camila left out a lot at the end and that was maybe because she was annoying or they were so annoyed by her. I honestly got conflicted and can't support them the same as before when they did a performance throwing a person that represented Camila when she left the group. Let me tell you that sht really sucks and it was hurtful.
Anyways, I think Camila shines more now and was born to be a soloist. 💕

ehy can you react to CNCO's interview? ruclips.net/video/bQVFID7LBBI/видео.html English is not their first language and Zabdiel(the one with glasses and black t-shirt) and Erick(the one next to Zabdiel)couldn't speak english a few years ago. Only Richard(the one with the hoodie and Christopher(the one with green t-shirt) were fluent. There was another guy who left, which is Joel and his personality was kinda similar to Zayn before with the group.
